  • Hell of a try. The guy takes a big hit in order to get the pass away at the end.

Who cares if it was forward, it was against England.

  • huge forward pass but nice!

  • Great try. Agulla combined superbly with Hernández. Definetly Argentina´s best try of 2009. Not the best of the year though, that goes to Heymans. This try was not a forward pass. Anyone who thinks it is needs to read the rule book.

  • @illusion1user how would reading the rule book help determine it was foreward?you only have to wqatch the video to know it was forward

  • @mitchwildmut888 The momentum of Agulla shows he is moving forwards as he passed the ball to his left meaning it is not forward. He got hit back just after passing which also needs to be considered. Paddy O´Brian has made it clear that passes such as this one are not forward as the player is moving forward upon passing meaning the tragectory of the pass is backwards as the player is in motion movign forwards. IRB Law 12.

  • @illusion1user bro if he is already moving forward nd the pass goes foreward dat means its evab more forward cos the players have cort up 2 da pass 2 make it look flet u canot disput this it a froward pass marginal but stil forward

  • haha I bet the guy that thinks its forward is english, henry robbed Ireland , shit happens man

  • exelente try, pero creo que aun asi el de Francia de Cedric Heymans es el mejor para mi opinion..

  • lejos el mejor !!!

  • the best try of year

  • It was a forward pass - can't deny that. Pity would have been brilliant otherwise.

  • Please watch the Rugby Union "Forward Pass" video. It wasn't forward even though the ball moved forward relative to the pitch. It wasn't forward relative to the passing and receiving players and that's what counts.

  • AVANT de campeonato

    Excelente Try

  • Great try

  • It WAS forward. Use the 22 to see where the pass came from and where it was received......it was easily 2-3 metres forward.

  • that's not how forward passes are adjudged you need to take into account the momentum of the player, if the players hands move backwards the pass is not forward, even if the player catching the pass catches it in front of the point where the pass was thrown

  • Eh no. If the pass is received in front of where the ball originated, then it's a forward pass. Momentum or not, the ball travelled in a diagonal line forward. End of story.

  • Actually I take it back, you're right.

  • not forward

    excelent try

  • You should study some physics, it's called MRUV (i guess in english would be rectilineous uniformly variated movement), a combination of two moves, one is foward in the passer's direction and the other one is the pass's direction. there is an IRB video that explains this situation, look for it here in youtube

  • Look above you. I've already taken it back.

    I was wrong.

I've seen a vid explaining it already. And I hated physics thank you very much !!! :-)

  • speed of the camera tracking it makes it look forward, but think the ball actually goes backwards

  • forward, surely?!

  • passes before makes the try so beautifull

  • how can that be the best try when the last pass went 5 metres forward?

  • this should be the best try of the year

  • Great final pass, b
