  • Just make this a while ago. So simple yet so nice.

  • @suzliniisrani Awesome! I am happy you like this! Thanks!

  • Can I substitute the lemon juice with orange juice?

  • @ntfredrickson1 I have never done that but I think it might not be a good idea with the anchovies. Thanks for stopping by!

  • Worried about raw egg? Refrigerators work wonders for chilling your dressing eh?

  • @Calbenmike Thank you for coming by!

  • i can't seem to find worcestershire sauce anywhere in my country. Any ideas for substitute?

  • @power13 I got this from gourmetsleuth (com) for you. Hope it helps! Steak sauce such as A1 brand, Soy Sauce, or make your own: Combine: 1 tsp tamarind paste, 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp cider or white vinegar, dash hot pepper sauce, scant pinch cloves.

  • Can you give me a substitute for anchovies?

  • @footykrazy Go ahead and make this with out the anchovies. You will have an equally delicious salad dressing without the fishiness. Thanks for coming by!

  • I could almost smell the dressing through the monitor! I'll use this recipe next time I do a Caesar.

  • @bigndum1 Yay! I hope you love it as much as we do. Thank you very much for coming by!

  • ew anchovies...

  • @pojo205 Sorry they are not your thing. Thanks for watching though!

  • @bmanzana13 Commercial mayonnaise has an undeserved bad reputation as a cause of food spoilage. In fact, commercial mayonnaise is loaded with acid and preservatives that can actually extend the life of salads by killing bacteria. The eggs used in prepared mayonnaise are pasteurized to kill harmful bacteria.

  • I make this at work. Nice

  • @SomeBlokeLol Great! Thanks for watching!

  • would i be able to just put all the ingredients in a blender?

  • @nancynge You could do that. Simply add the oil at the end, very slowly through the hole on the lid. Thanks for coming by!

  • does my breath smell?

  • @monstersVSjesus Yay! I am so happy it worked for you! Thanks for letting me know!

  • @monstersVSjesus Check out the recent video I made on pita pockets. I am also going to upload a video for cinnamon swirl bread this week. Thanks for watching.

  • Sorry, my last comment didn't have enough. I just don't like that fishy taste, so this was not very appitising for me. Sorry

  • @din0bree The anchovy is definitely fishy and if you do not like that this is definitely not for you. I am sorry you did not like this recipe. Have a great weekend!

  • @pastryparrot1 I love the fishy taste, so I found it delicious. Thanks!

  • @Sublue You are welcome and YAY! Thanks for letting me know.

  • I tried this and it is horrible.

  • I use veggie oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, and grated cheese in mine.

  • @more4me1231 Cool! Thanks for coming by! Happy 2011!

  • wondering why you don't use raw egg yolks, are you just concerned with raw eggs not being safe to eat? isn't that part of a proper caesar dressing? thanks.

  • @fmbighair Yes it is. I prefer not to chance it with the raw egg yolk - especially when I am feeding the kids. Thanks so much for coming by!

  • @pastryparrot1 i use mayonaise instead of raw eggs too. My niece had salmonella bacteria ( u know when kids like to lick the leftovers of a chocolate cake batter) so she spent 3 weeks in the hospital. So using mayo. is kinf of safer, and gives u practically the same taste, because mayo. contains eggs too !

    Thanks

  • @lebcedars09 Thanks so much for coming by and commenting! I really appreciate it!

  • thank u so much madam , i will try this for my dad , =)

  • @hli04 Try it! I think you will like it! Thanks for coming by!

  • is it true the oil works best if its cold?

  • @Hazimmm182 I have always worked with my oil at room temperature so I really don't know if they work better when cold. Thank you so much for coming by!

  • Love the dressing videos -- thanks!

  • Thank you for watching!

  • looks pretty easy to make ty for sharing :D

  • My pleasure!

  • Looks wonderful.

  • Thank you!

  • Anchovy paste is also available if people can't find/are too grossed out by the filleted ones. That's what I've always used in my dressing :)

  • Absolutely! Thanks for coming by!

  • I've never eaten seaser salad. I might try it out. : ) always great recipes.

  • Thanks!

  • hmm looks good

  • It is. I like that it is light - not heavy of mayonnaise. It is loaded with flavor! Thanks for watching!

  • Absolutely! You know I've always liked the caesar italian version. I don't know what other ingredients to add to make it italian. Let me know if you do.

  • Did you know that Caesar salad was created by Caesar Cardini - an Italian national - in Tijuana, Mexico? Some fun trivia!

  • Ok I may confused. There's the caesar dressing and then there's the caesar italian version. Am I right?

  • I have no knowledge of this. All I know is that some times this dressing is made with raw egg yolks, some versions have mustard in them and some have Parmesan cheese in it. This is my favorite kind. Anyway, thanks again for watching!
