When I talk to most people about GTA the things that get the most praise are not the violence, but the free-roaming environment, multitude of missions and side quests, and the detail of the universe. Sure, you would probably lose some of GTA's blood-mongers in a game where the object is to help people out, but you'd also open yourself up to a different audience as well.

When I talk to people about Grand Theft Auto, it's all about stealing cars and shooting hookers in the face. The free roaming environment is usually roaming around with a machine gun and killing people. And the multitude of missions and side quests are mostly about running around with a machine gun and killing people.

Well, as I say, there are some people who play it for that and some who play it for other reasons. A game of the kind I initially described would NOT have the same audience as GTA but it would have some overlap. I'm willing to guess that the people to whom you are referring are either college kids or teenagers for whom GTA is an artificial anger outlet. That's all well and good, but once they grow up and learn real ways to control their anger, maybe they'll be interested in another kind of game.

A commercial is good when it is succesfull, and I would actually say that his one is. It displays the coca-cola only few times, but enough and together with the entertaining action it awakens positive feelings by the consumer. Therefore very successfull indeed.
