Only recently I've found one minor issue with the RG370DX as it is out of its box.

There are two screws in the back which hold the of the Springs. I suggest you buy a good quality Long Phillips Head Screwdriver.

I say this because I used some cheap ones and it ruined the screw threads!

I had to put in some new screws which were better anyway.

Otherwise it's just getting used to a Floyd Rose bridge if you've never used one

Yeah over all it's a good Guitar in my opinion, its nice to fret mainly because of the Frets and the neck is nicer than my old Pacifica so...

Not so good if you use a range of tunings, if you use one set consistantly - your fine.

If you're rich enough, buy an array of Guitars with Floyd type bridges and keep them in set tunning for your different tunings.

About the clarity - I had some shit Levels that day and my room had been cleaned so all my dials had been messed with by the Vaccume cleaner.

I did need more practice at the time but it's hard to please the general YouTube Crowd,

especially when I got a comment along the lines of "You've practiced that alot go die you bitch" ... from another user.

I bought mine from a Yamaha Dealer which is also the same place where I have Guitar Lessons.

I chose it over the RG350,

I didn't see the need for a Pick Plate once I noticed that my older Yamaha had no plectrum colours from bad picking technique...

I also prefered the Black colour, it made me pay more attention to insrument cleanlyness.

It made me realise how dirty my old Guitar was :D

It's took me a while to get used to the Locking Floyd Rose style Bridge.

Dude,

Arguably, you can play Rock on a any guitar...

it just depends what sound you want in the end.

The only thing I can say is, unless you know or ar willing to learn how to work a Floyd Rose Trem, you might be best off sticking to a fixed bridge if you think it's too fiddely.

I can play most things on any cheap guitar,

but they don't sound half as good as this one.

There is practially none needed for a direct Line In from my Effects Processor. A Pre-amp, Maybe.

(That goes before you get to your Effects loops/box).

I Practice with a Laney 15 Watt amp, it does the job.

well you probably know, both have a Floyd Rose Setup.

The Alexi ESP has a registerd Floyd Rose setup which I'd have though would be better than the Ibanez Edge III Design in some way.

You get abit more for your money out of the Ibanez RG370 Pickupwise.

Both guitars are good,

the ESP has the upper hand for looks though :)

1. Distortion: "Metal" Preset w/ Gain: (Full), Bottom: 75% and Tone 75%.

2. Flanger: Rate: 0, Depth: 0, Level: 0

the begining needs distortion or crunch, it sounded to funky they way it was,good distortion used for rest of song though. chorus you're pausing when it doesn't just so you know.

nice effect used on solo, few notes missed out though,focus on hitting the notes before playin about with your tremolo towards end of solo. nice job though keep it up. 3 stars.
