@unowen7270:04.. ya it DEFINATELY looks like he's running doesn't it.... he didnt even try for it. berdych isnt one of the faster players on tour.. and tour players dont hit winners from the baseline ever unless the other player is way outside the court. usually when a winner is struck is when they are hitting a short ball on the rise. berdych didnt try for that ball. period. end.
@unowen727 no i dont think he can stretch his arm that long, but since when do tennis players sit on the baseline and swing for the ball? they have something called footwork and speed which gets them to balls. get it now?
@unowen727 u have got to be kidding, federers playing a super lanky and slow player... it wasn't out of this world good forehand.. but any top 50 player would have gotten that easily and would have been able to neutralize it
Muy buen video, se observan claramente los baby steps (pasos de ajuste), y la mecánica perfecta de la derecha en clossed stance (posición cerrada) de Roger. Gracias!
It's "Berdych should HAVE hit a cross court shot."
And that WAS a crosscourt shot. Look at where it was hit from and where it ended up. It was just a crosscourt with very little angle that landed very close to the center of the court.

Sorry for my one "typo". But yeah, isn't that obvious? I was implying that he should of hit it at a better angle.

He runs around the ball to just hit it back at Roger....with little pace ??

jojomojo456 2 years ago
hitting the ball to the other side of the court to what your standing at. like crossing a soccer ball to someone except with tennis i guess.
HellRaiser51 2 years ago
=) Oh thanks! Is it really hard?
jojomojo456 2 years ago
no its easy

His opponent ran around his backhand only to hit a short ball directly to Federer's forehand. Not a good move.

that tiny step is what makes federer #1 and the federer wanabee losers.
