  • Nice stuff, I really enjoyed the listen.

I have an upgraded Epi Les Paul with all new wiring, CTS pots, a quality switch, and some Zhangbuckers, and I really like it.

Your rig sounds fantastic sir. :)

  • this is the playing I like to hear :) none of that stuff where you get players that think speed is everything

  • @Fender1976uk Thanks very much, appreciated.

  • Sounds very much like a Gibson.

  • CLOSE to the mark, VERY close

  • Very nice all round. Great playing and great sound you've got going there :)

  • @Mindfreak5150 Thanks very much. Really appreciated

  • Really nice playing - very pagey - do you by any chance have the wiring for the pagey mod? Please?

  • @AtomicRoost No sorry, I had a guitar tech do the work for me, very tricky wiring/soldering etc.

  • @JonGUK Do you know who the tech was that did it? He did a superb job, only because you've nailed the style tho does it sound real - that's a compliment by the way

  • @AtomicRoost Yes, firstly I bought the "kit" from torresengineering in US and then I had it all installed by Dan Mcpherson (Southend, UK) and he did and excellent job. I could have done the installation myself, but there is some very very trickly soldering involved even in just the installation so I didn't want to take a chance.

Thanks for your comments on my playing by the way, much appreciated.

  • @AtomicRoost google Jimmy page wiring, the second on down has it (I can't post links apparently). Although I suggest you switch the to lugs that aren't ground on each volume pot (in that specific guy's diagram). Otherwise it doesn't go fully off. Delete the spaces.

  • @AtomicRoost Go to Seymour Duncan's web site. Then Support --> Wiring diagrams --> Humbucker Diagrams -->Jimmy Page style wiring! :)

  • almost forgot! This was the drive channel, but the pre-volume was only at about 4 and the post volume was wide open

  • The reverb is from the amp, but the overal "room" sound is simply the sound of the room via the stereo mics on the video camera. Thanks for stopping by !

  • Nice licks brother, very Jimmy inspired! I think it sounds very close to the sound he had in The Song Remains The Same. Are you using the clean channel cranked or the OD "channel"? and are you using the Peavey's reverb? I have an older classic thirty and the reverb does not sound like that (arena rock). Thanks in advance, and keep on rockin'!

  • that's my man!!! xx

  • Thats My Boy...!!!!

  • :-)
