That was only one of 8 fully tweakable presets in the Vocoder patch... But what's really cool is that you don't have to be in the vococer patch to use the mic input. Try turning the patch dial to select any category (bass, keyboard, bell, etc.) and then press the Vocoder button and now you can use the mic as a breath controller to control any of the instruments. For example, I get a cool slap bass type effect from beat boxing into the bass patches.The possibilities are endless with this feature.
damnit! i just got that R3 from guitar center and within 30 mins of playing it, all of the audio outputs were cut off and wouldn't work. it's a shame but guitar center is kool and they're sending me a brand new one that is being shipped to my house so thank god. i didn't want to waste $550 on something that shitted out

i own a microkorg. I want to make vocoder patches that sound more dry but the MK is 8 band.
oh well
but the Microkorg has great synth patches.
