@CJLOVESRIVER Its great to see someone so young who loves this Stand by Me as much as all of us old timers who were your age when the movie first come out...Most kids your age never heard of this movie or would not have the intelligence and the patience to really understand the story and enjoy this beautiful movie.

This and the outsiders have got be the best movies about friendship and boyhood in existence. I look forward to the day when Hollywood releases another gem like these two great films. Super 8 fell through, but at least there is evidence of progress being remade.
