Anthony changed his vocals on this song because it sounds better. I skipped over this song on Blood Sugar because I didn't like it, until I saw the modern version. As a musician the goal isn't to emulate your studio version but to continually build from it.

@soliloqy I didn't like the original version at all at first but it definitely grew on me. It's now one of my favorite Chili songs of all time. This performance isn't necessarily BETTER, just a matter of personal taste. But I agree on building on the studio version and not always trying to play it exactly. I've heard the studio version a million times, I don't want to hear the exact same thing live.

The only thing I dont like when they do it live is anthony does the vocal in a higher voice than on the song. And he goes up and down in pitch, maybe to make it sound more interesting and funky but it sounds better in the monotone voice like it is on the studio version.
