@subtleobscurity You need choose a server in hardcore mode - If you want to kill your teammates in normal mode, you can only make them suicide.

I recommend flying the MAV about 10 feet above a helicopter's propellers and letting them fly up into you, for their instant death.

Or flying the MAV infront of a jet as it has just started moving, position it in-front of the nose so they'll commit suicide.

Boosting is when people use a simple game exploit to increase their rank, gun experience, or class. What these kids were doing was one shot the device while the other repaired it. The one who repaired it got points for repairing a damaged device, along with ribbons for repairing. This way he could rank up his engineer class faster.
