The most amazing thing with Mike Davis is his finger control. Watch his fret hand, he fully extends his fingers after each note. Most people keep their fingers closer to the fretboard to lessen the distance to the strings. I hope he's successful in whatever he does these days. I wish he'd at least make an instructional video!

What set Nocturnus apart was the fact that their songs are actual musical compositions, not just some riffs attached to eachother. I maintain that The Key is the best death-metal album ever, with only a handful others approaching it.
