Great review! You are very well informed and post a good video. I bought a 2600 when it was new and later Intellivision about a year after it came out. Most of the games you reviewed were one player games. The two player games were best. MLB Baseball tops the list. Sea Battle comes in second. But yes, I loved both AD&D games, Tron Deadly Discs. B-17 Bomber had to be one of the most versitle games ever at the time. Keep going kid, you're doing fine!
I am 14, i'm not really collecting old games but i had a nes (sold it earlyer this year).
I also like my atari 2600 emulator a lot, and most games im making (im fucking around with gamemaker and cpp) are retro stylish. generation doesn't matter, interest does.
Awesome video man, its great to see a gaming kid who can actually complete a sentence and express an idea. You've also got a really nice collection with some great games :)
How the heck old are you? I can't believe a kid of your apparent age, is not only interested in, but also so knowledgeable of Intellivision facts! (# of star strike copies sold) No need to ask why (ya like what ya like), but I'm curious what/when attracted you to of all things, Intellivision? I mean, I, grew up on/was ORIGINALLY playing it @ your age. Did your dad/uncle, etc introduce you to it? Kids you are are into Wii, NDS, etc. It's just so odd, but ultimately cool! Play on lil'dude!
@gjc82071 I have always been a fan of retro video gaming considering the fact that my brother has owned a sega genesis for many years. I was first introduced to intellivision by my dad who used to own one until it broke. Some of the games I show in this video were his. I have my own now, and I continue to collect as much as I can.
@memphiselle That's awesome! When I was around your age (probably a bit younger, like 5-6yo), my dad had an Atari "Video Pinball/Breakout" console. It was a dedicated system, no cartridges, just a few internal games. When the Atari 2600 came out, we grabbed it. I was the 1st kid in school to have 1. I remember he & I would check weekly for, & buy each new game as it was released. Now I have 15 classic consoles & also "collect" emulators for classic games. Have like 50 emulators & 50k ROMs
The great thing about your interest in classic/retro gaming is hopefully you & people/kids like you, will keep classic gaming alive for the next generation. Do you know they have emulators for Intellivision (& most other classic games) so you can play on your computer? I have a real INTV & also several emulators. The cool thing is I have basically EVERY INTV game (& almost every other classic game) ever released, + some prototypes, & homebrews. You can also play online with other people!
I beat star strike.......once. My two favorites was Sea Battle and Autoracing. The battles between me and my brother in Sea Battle were epic.....I'll have to hook up our old Intellevision II next time he comes to visit.
Nice collection. Got a lot more games for it than I have. That art work is shit. Got the poker and blackjack. I got like half that, better start collecting harder.

I did not know that, about Space Battle and Battlestar Galaxtica.
Intellevision is also one of my favorite system.
I was about your age when I had one back in the early 80's :-)
