Letterman, Leno and the other late night talk show hosts, they have their monologue and some of the bits where they shine. but the interviews are for the guests, The best guests are the ones that talk for most of the time. They are supposed to be the "star" of the moment and let the host just sit back and comment every now and then. Leno, Kimmel, Conan, and Letterman all do it.

I've never seen him so out of breath all the time. He was the same on Leno. I think his extra weight is starting to cause him some heavy breathing. He used to be able to go through the impression without the big breath at the end. That's okay for his Chris Farley but not for others. He just needs to be careful because he's always been a bigger guy. And don't get me wrong, I think he's frickin awesome!

How many times can you do George Bush by adding "icate" to the end of words and expect people to think it's funny?
