A photo slitghtly altered in the extreme foreground "manipulated to hide something". Hiding what, and then, why publish it? And, actually typical lensflares, called "spotlights" or "UFO's". On the "panorama" picture the astronauts had used the Rover to move away from the LEM, so the answer to why it's not seen, is: It's behind one of the hills.

I love Marcus Allen. He is very funny in his so-called research. If I want to analyse a photo, I would take more photos to compare, and not a photomontage of a book. Then I would do a bit research, i.e. the location of the shot. So I would know that the lander is not visible, because it is behind a height and some kilometers away.

Various a-nauts can be seen on video shooting panoramas for the purpose of assembling later. What photographer shows his crappy photos in the worst possible presentation? And the A-17 EVAs covered miles. Likely the LM was over a hill or so far it was a speck. ALL lenses create lens flares of all sizes. The a-naut is white. The rocks are not. Thus the detail.

They had sent probes to Venus already in 1961, for example. Even radio amateurs with the right equipment tracked Apollos signals. No "coordinates" necessary. Everyone knew where the Moon was. Just claiming that the lander is not visible in a 360 degree photograph means nothing. All images could have been taken with the lander behind the shooter to have clear 360 of what was around the landing site. I do believe NASA has airbrushed many pictures to make them look better or have the public see what they want them to see. They do not want us to know everything.

No, even Hubble or the VLT doesn't have the required resolution, not even approximately. Theorists of course suggest that this is a lie, but there are simple calculations that prove that any of our telescopes have the required resolution. Theorists also don't understand that even distant galaxies aren't very small but very dim. We don't need the resolution of Hubble but its ability to make distant and dim light sources visible (with very long exposure times).

This "video" makes stupid assumptions. The LEM "looking like a model". No, it looks just like it looks on photos before it was loaded into the Saturn V. A photo slitghtly altered in the extreme foreground "manipulated to hide something". Hiding what, and then, why publish it? And, actually typical lensflares, called "spotlights" or "UFO's". On the "panorama" picture the astronauts had used the Rover to move away from the LEM, so the answer to why it's not seen, is: It's behind one of the hills.

I love Marcus Allen. He is very funny in his so-called research. If I want to analyse a photo, I would take more photos to compare, and not a photomontage of a book. Then I would do a bit research, i.e. the location of the shot. So I would know that the lander is not visible, because it is behind a height and some kilometers away.

What he calls "mosaics" were panorama's taken with the purpose of being assembled (which involves airbrushing) later. Totally legitimate! Various a-nauts can be seen on video shooting panoramas for the purpose of assembling later. What photographer shows his crappy photos in the worst possible presentation? And the A-17 EVAs covered miles. Likely the LM was over a hill or so far it was a speck. ALL lenses create lens flares of all sizes. The a-naut is white. The rocks are not. Thus the detail.

@Jinkies420 I think it could be true, and it could be fake. We'll not know for sure anytime soon. But I do know that in the Cold War era, this kind of thing was absolutely the focus of each party. So faking a moon landing to win the race to the moon was very much the logical and clever thing to do.

@WorldOfSnakes Faking a moon landing had been the most stupid thing to try, since the Soviets had immediately exposed it, and USA had been the laughing stock of the century. USA and Soviet tracked every big rocket launched by the other nation. Both military- and space-rockets. And they could track all spacecraft both by radar and their radio-transmissions. No way a faked moon landing could be accomplished. Just pure fantasy.

@xismxist If You just search a little about the military situation and equipment of that time, You'll find that USA and Russia tracked every big rocket fired. Both military- and space-. They were paranoid about ICBM's coming in. Soviet even had "fishing trawlers" loaded with antennas constantly on international water outside Cape Kennedy. Do a little detailed search Yourself, because I don't have these informations from the net, but from old paper-based documents of that time.

So no, the russians could no way track apollo thats just a bs claim from the propagandists. If you tell me they did, then provide the telescope they used and show me when and where NASA gave the coordinates to Soviet.

@xismxist I've gone through this nonsense before, with another person (or was it You with a different signature?) Soviet COULD track in deep space. They had sent probes to Venus already in 1961, for example. Even radio amateurs with the right equipment tracked Apollos signals. No "coordinates" necessary. Everyone knew where the Moon was. What's the problem? The frequencies were known. Just a sensitive reciever and a big antenna needed.

@YDDES Try to understand the differences between tracking apollo at ~2300 mhz or a sond with a total another frequence. Russians didnt even have one single telescope capable of tracking apollo. Hams didnt track apollo either, thats just a BS claim. No coordinates necessary?!?!?!?! explain then why jodrell bank couldnt track apollo on their way to the moo, but only NEAR moon. Answer? NASA didnt gave them the coordinates.

Yes, Jodrell Bank tracked the signals too, but so did the Soviets themselves. Now, where is the Evidence that Apollo stayed in Earth orbit?

@datzfast OK, please tell me where to find that information about MIT's laserbouncing, and what they achieved with that. Anyhow, anyone knows that you got a much better precision in measuring if you use a prism to reflect a laserbeam, than a rocky, dusty surface. Also: NASA doesn't need the reflectors as a "proof", since there is proof enough that man has been on the Moon.

The taxpayers lost interest in moon-travelling after the race was won, so it became politically impossible to spend more billions just to revisit a dead celestial body. What was really there to gain? Scientifical knowledge. But, how big a percentage of the taxpayers were interested in that? A very low number. People wanted their money spent on Earth, not on the Moon.

this video is garbage we did go to the moon, i mean people who said we faked are basically insulted all the hard that gone into it. I was watching a show last night called moon machines it it actually shows you how many of the engineer lost their wifes and kids because they were overworking and stress them selves out just to put these astronauts to the moon they really worked hard.

Just claiming that the lander is not visible in a 360 degree photograph means nothing. All images could have been taken with the lander behind the shooter to have clear 360 of what was around the landing site. I do believe NASA has airbrushed many pictures to make them look better or have the public see what they want them to see. They do not want us to know everything.

Hundreds of questions have been put to NASA regarding the alleged Moon photographs, and not once have they replied with a logical explanation. One of those questions was:- "Why are some Moon photographs in color, whilst others are in monochrome?" According to NASA no expense was spared with Apollo, so why the difference, why aren't ALL the photographs in color?

The astronauts had no cameras in their hands. The cameras were mounted to their chest. The astronauts simply moved their towards the object they wanted to catch and pressed a trigger that for designed for their bulky gloves. It wasn't very difficult for the astronauts to take photos but however many photos were useless. Of the NASA only gave the good photos to the press, but they also released many of the useless photos to show the difficulties.

That is not practical. We would need a telescope with a lens a few miles wide to have the clarity to see something as small as a 4 foot flag. Instead, NASA has used satellites to take pictures of the moon landing sites. You can see the latest photos of the original Apollo sites here:

No, even Hubble or the VLT doesn't have the required resolution, not even approximately. Theorists of course suggest that this is a lie, but there are simple calculations that prove that any of our telescopes have the required resolution. Theorists also don't understand that even distant galaxies aren't very small but very dim. We don't need the resolution of Hubble but its ability to make distant and dim light sources visible (with very long exposure times).

fiesta1100, I doubt any of the photos were faked of the moon landings. Don't forget, thousands of scientists have looked at these photos too. Any alterations would have been obvious to them.
The Apollo landings were a tremendous acheivement for the human race.

ptraiders40 I think you will find that the photographs the scientists have looked at will be the ones taken from close range at various anomolies and arial photos from the CM orbiting the moon,Not the "glamour photos" of the astronauts stood by the flag the LM and the lunar rover and various other photos.Apollo was a tremendous achievement and i dont think for one moment that it was faked.
