Haggard but still lovely. Grant was the hippy-ish and sunny part of huskers.
There was world´s difference between him and Mould, but that friction created some fantastic music. Both are great.. These later vids are really good soundtrack to Hüskers biography and Mould´s book.I prefer the first cos it has more wiewpoints.
I saw him in December of 2009 and it was great, although he did look very haggard. He was missing some teeth and stuff (from the smack of course)..he definitely looked older than his age (not even 50 yet). Great guy though.
Yes, He does look sick. I don't think he's on top of his game either, judging by what I've seen posted on the Tube lately, which further leads to me thinking he's taking a last lap around the track before he checks out. I HOPE I AM WRONG.
@beelzabubba Ummm Yeah... unfortunately he has that Johnny Thunders look. Sorta strung out, sorta cancery (not trying to make light of it), but that is how he looks.
As I mentioned, I hope I am wrong about him being sick. He's pale and I would probably not even recognize him if I walked by him on the street. I admire him as one of the greatest mordern songwriters though (this particular song is one of my favorites); met him at a gig once and he gave me his beer tickets because he said he wasn't drinking at the time. He and I walked over to the bar but it was already closed. I thanked him and left. I should have kept those beer tickets.
Hmmm - a Canada flag sticker. Evidently a souvenir from his time working with the Constellation folks... ;) (though there should thus also be a Quebecois flag sticker) Nice to hear one of my fave Husker songs. )

I saw him perform in May. He puts on a great show with just himself and an electric guitar. But I can't believe I called him "Mister Hart."

I hope not either. My dad had cancer and had that same grayish look. Hope I'm wrong, would love to see him in Cambridge MA sometime again.

Thanks for uploading! One of Hüsker Dü's best songs and one of my own favourites in general. Great to see Grant still singing it.
