I was at that 1971 Glastonbury Town Hall gig too! The other band playing was Hawkwind! What a gig that was!

I thought what a bunch of sweeties was just fine. I remember seeing the fairies with hawkwind and magic muscle at Glastonbury Town Hall in 1971 I think, dont quote me cause yanno I was off me tits most of the time back then. Despite not being able to remember the exact date it was an unforgettable evening that I spent with 2 american guys who had come over to study at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre school. There was the most magnificent cake full of all sorts of 'sweeties'. Happy days and nights.

They were always a trip of a listening experience. Lying on the bed looking through the smoke at the ceiling was a common theme....Then you had to turn the LP over. A big hello for those of us who lived through IT.

Great track from 'Sweeties' - nice artwork - sort of appropriate for the Pinks! Saw them with Hawkwind in the early 70s - will never forget it - just brilliant!
