Two of Oprah's favourite people in the world are scientologists, Tom and John Travolta...Maybe Scientology makes people have better personalities...Tom and John have great, inspiring and positive personalities, which, I'm sure has something to with the mental training that Scientologists go through...I don't know much about Scientology, but I've read that it's pretty expensive to be a Scientologist, in terms of what a Scientologist is obliged to give to the COS...If only Tom were a Christian.
Matt Lauer, who I respect tremendously as a journalist, really should have accommodated Tom's opinion in a more professional way...As a journalist, Matt should not have gotten personally involved, which I think he did...Matt's personal feeling on the issue came out, instead of having an intellectual discourse about the issue on an objective and a open-minded level...If I am wrong about this, I stand corrected...I don't think Tom is crazy, I think he's very smart and shrewd and a great person.
He has a right to his opinion, as do we, because he's famous all of a sudden it's wrong, it'd be wrong if we were to say something out of line too. Flipping hate the press, making him seem like he's horrible when actually all he was doing was stating an opinion.
