Für hohe Geschwindigkeiten spielt das Fahrzeuggewicht nicht mehr die entscheidende Rolle sonder die Aerodynamik und die Motorleistung. Was meint ihr warum ein Lotus Elise mit 675kg und 120PS auf 100 abgeht wie ein Porsche und in der Endgeschwindigkeit nur etwas schneller ist als ein Golf mit gleicher Motorleistung..Fahr mal mit GPS und du wirst sehen es waren höchstens um die 230....;) Die Tachos übertreiben gerne.

its a nice engine 1.8 turbo with chip tuning and a bigger llk you can get 300 hp ....

stock standard a polo gti will run 216km/hr (134.2mph) ecu tuning will yield round 157kw (stock110kw) giving a top speed of around 240km/hr (149.1mph). what alot of non european people dont realise(or just not polo savvy , whatever) is that these are little cars but they also can run on the autobahns, and with a little tuning (ie full exhaust, ecu upgrade,intercooler, ko4 turbo upgrade) these things can fly, 160mph is not out of the question.

yep thats it , (though according the vw they wiegh 1190kg, alot of people also remove the back and passanger seats, spare wheels etc plus carbo fibre parts pussing them under 1100kgs) the most i think ive scene the polo get out of the 1.8t was around 250kw- 300kw, though unfortunatly it has problems getting that much power to the ground, when its only a fwd car.

Some of them pushing 400hp from 2L engine with cars a 900kg or less...this polo MUST go over 250km/h with 1200kg and lot of power...if 1600kg Supra with 330hp doing 290km/h...
