for the D chord in the beginning ..don' t play it in that position..try to play it starting at the seventh fret of the D string...it will be easier to play ;)
dont listen to folk telling you rushed through it, its still a great versio of this classic master by MK. :) its good to listen to other players do the same tune as i do :) check mine out see what ya think :) keep up the dire straits tunes :)

Yeah Its just an american standard strat..for some reason the camera makes it look a bit pink, its actually a really deep red..
