First of all, the cops were totally in the wrong. He performed the field sobriety tests incorrectly. Second his bac was at the legal limit to operate a motor vehicle in the state of Missouri. That would be.08 for those of you that don't know. The sheriffs department should be sued and lose it all. The cops their are some of the worst in the country. Why don't you guys quite discriminating and catch the real criminals
agree that this borders on invasion of privacy - does BC Sheriffs department make every DUI pull over video available to the media?? The questions about what prescription drugs he was taking is a violation of HIPPA privacy laws. That should have been redacted. If I were Pinkels lawyers I would consider a suit against the Sheriffs office. Not to condone Pinkels actions, but this seems to go over the line in terms of transparency.
I am from Columbia Mo and I got pulled over the young cops in his early 20's told me I was going to Jail and he was laughing. He accused me of beeing drunk or on drugs, despite the fact I had a broken nose and was driving myself to the ER and had blood dripping all over my face onto my shirt, the cops still thought I was drunk when they did the breathalizer I was neg then the cops took me to the ER. Imagine if I had an heart attack? I would be dead FUCK YOU COLUMBIA PD. Not everyone is drunk
Not trying ot defend Pinkel, He was iver the limit. What extremely surprised me is how nice and proffession the Boon County sheriff was. This was probably the only BC sheriff that wasn't a total trigger happy Barney Fife. Pulled over many times while attending MU totally sober. Total dicks. I guess I drank too many glasses of water.... I don't even drink. Usually in BC it's borderline harassment.

Pinkel: "Do you know who I am, I'm Gary Pinkel, head coach of MIZZOU football"
Deputy: "Sir, I went to Columbia College, now would you mind stepping out of the vehicle"
