Thanks, Richard, for recording "The Peppermint Kid." It was DJ Tommy Dean's idea to have me write this song for you as your "signature song." I had fun writing it, and after the great reception you got singing it at the recent "Christmas For Families" show, there's no doubt that it's a hit with your fans.  :)

It was fun to have Richard and Joanie here in Maine..glad we had the chance to get to know them. Richard did a fine job at Christmas For Families and the audience enjoyed him so much. What impressed me most about Richard was how incredibly nice he was to everyone, and I enjoyed listening to the story of how his wife put all those rhinestones on his jeans!
