I'm white and I've wondered the same thing!!! Umm... Maybe salad for white chicks and steak for white guys??? For the English it's fish and chips... for the Germans it's sauerkraut and wienerschnitzels?... Maybe when it gets to the white it breaks down into countries... like Chinese have the fried rice and Japanese have sushi?? I have no clue, lol

Bicuits and gravy, every white person loves it and almost everyone I know loves steak and potatoes. Then again I am irish and I do freakin love potatoes

If you are in the south, its all about fried chicken, greens, beans and cornbread, catfish, steak and BBQ. In New Orleans you have the gumbo, beignets and crawfish. On the coastal areas you have seafood, chowder and crabcakes. In the cities like New York and such you have most of your italian, asian, and cultured foods and gourmet type stuff. Im not really sure about the west coast area but probably about the same.

Having said all of that, did not actually answer the question. I still do not know what distinqishes the "white american" food from any other. I really do not think there is any. We eat just about what ever is being served. I guess that is what being an American is all about. It is not really about a certian culture because the intention of the nation was to be a "melting pot" of all nations. But the culture in itself depends on economics and location within the US regardless of race.

cont...If so then I guess pasta and pizza would be their food. Then there are the Greek descend which are not dark skin like lamb and gyros. And people like myself that are just plain from the south that probably have a descendants from Germany, Ireland and native american who knows. Most of us just like fruits vegetables and meat or seafood. And it also depends on what economic class one is from.

Funny you should ask this because a friend of mine is doing a project for school asked me the same thing. She is black american from the south in america as I am. I cannot find the answer to that question either. I mean it really depends on where in the US or the world for the most part that you are from and what you consider as cultural differences. I will explain....Is Italian considered "white"? I mean there skin is not dark but they descend from another country and have a distinct culture.
