I had the same problem.

I filed down the back of the X7 (when u take the stock back plug out) and my stock now fits. Even after filing it I still had to put a lot of elbow grease in to get the stock in there. Hopefully I never have to take it out now.

The tippman x7 is a great gun but it's too heavy with all if the mods and I play with it in the cold which you shouldn't do it's a pain to carry such a heavy gun when you are cold

The firing rate of a rifle doesnt decipher its make, the M16 for instance has 3shot burst 5 shot burst semi and fully auto, just cause COD4 has one on 3shot burst doesnt mean its true

the first problem is normal. air is suppose to shoot out of the gun when you take the tank out. it is just releasing air. for the second problem, you may want to check your hose line and get a new co2 tank.

@paintball4life01 i have to reply on this one and no it's not the co2 nor the o-ring.... the x7 is a different gun than others. but in that peace their are 4 parts to it.. the blow in valve, pressure pin, spoiler, and the blow out valve... the problem is in the pressure pin area.. the only way to fix that is to send the gun back bc the pressure pin is pushed up when air is put in the gun and dropped when air is take off the gun. if it doesn't move then tippmann made a mistake on production

@paintball4life01 and an easy way to figure it out if it works or not is put in a full tank and dry fire it 1 or 2 times and turn the co2 tank 1 turn like your takeing it off the gun then shoot 1 more time and repeat that and if the gun starts shooting air out crazy then send it back.. and the leaking tank is the o-ring on the tank.. their is no o-ring in this gun like angel's and spyders and such..( low maintenance )

cool video. makes me want to buy the E-grip for mine. does anyone know how to prevent the valve o-ring from freezing. you know, the one that goes in front of the tombstone adapter. cause it keeps freezing and then cracks and there goes my Co2. I tried lubricating it. no good. o ring is located inside the place where the magazine goes after you take the Co2 feed hose out of the marker

I prefer to use HP instead of CO2. HP gives you a more steady presure and no freezing. There's no CO2 expansion Chamber for X7. But u can use a remote line to get some sort of "small" expansion chamber with CO2 , but it not perfectly. I would suggest get yourself a 4500PSI/300BAR HP Bottle with Remote.

For that you have to go into the Advanced User Setup:

- Press & hold trigger

- while holding down trigger press button with allen key

- when light turns green let go of BUTTON (but keep holding trigger untill LED goes SOLID RED

- now let go of trigger

- you are now in menu 1 of 4, press trigger 3 times to get into bps setup

- once in there LED will flash green quickly to indicate this firing mode, press and hold trigger for 2 sec to enter its setup

- press trigger as many BPS you like (8-30)
