Not really...4800pds (which is what it says on the door is FULL CAR WEIGHT!!!) that is the full capacity of luggage + passengers...the CURB weight of the '99-'01 9-5s is around 3600-3700pds. I have a '00 9-5 Aero (not an '01 - even though its the SAME thing), and if you ever bother to read your owners manual, or find out online. so before you go calling people morons, READ!! You and your problematic '01 9-5 don't seem like you belong in a saab community (we are apart of the same forums asshole)
I would like to just say that Volvo, and Saab use the same engineers for engines before 2004, so im sorry to burst you bubble but the infamous S70R has the ONLY Volvo produced engine before those years, a v5 Turbo...THATS IT. research it if you don't believe me. Driving a volvo or a Saab before 2003-4 is the same thing except for v5s
