Any time I need to hear one of the greatest voices ever I play this song by Bobby. He can sing a ballad like no one else and his distinctive voice is such a pleasure to listen to. I do wish there were more songs by him available on YouTube. This song is sweet, though a little bit sad, and the song writer did a terrific job. Thank you - again - for posting this. - Paula (formerly PaulinaRena)
Bobby is doing ok all though he lost his brother a while back. Jack will be missed. i have many things on Bobby as my father was his producer. And i pictures and recordings
Bobby Lewis is a great guy and one of the nicest ive met. I had the pleasure of meeting him when i first met my wife as her best friend growing up was Melody Lewis Bobby's Daughter. His music is great and you can still find it if you look hard enough. He is still around and involved with music occasionally playing live. He continues to write and produce with some of todays top artists. You can also find him in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
The last time I saw Bobby on a live show was when Ernest Tubb's Record Shop was broadcast on TV-a number of years ago. He sang my very favorite love song of his "How Long Has It Been (Since Somebody Kissed You?)" Such a powerful voice which I never tire of listening to. I'm not sure if he wrote this song or not but it's always been his own song as far as I'm concerned. Also, I believe he might have been a regular on Stan Hitchcock's TV show from Louisville years ago. Thanks for video. -Paula
I was fortunate to meet the "little man with the lute" back in the late 60's at the Nashville Room of the Taft Hotel in NYC. I was a big fan and haven't been able to find out anything about his whereabouts. I have 2 vinyl LPs "THINGS FOR YOU & I" and "FROM HEAVEN TO HEARTACHE" and several 45's. Last I heard he was playing in Opry band. Wish someone had an update of this talented guy!
Thank you for this beautiful song by Bobby. What a voice. I wish he was still around in the limelight . King Records (a large music store) in Louisville, KY had some of his music years ago but I don't know about now. -Paula

Bobby's music is so rare that he has been virtually forgotten. Sorry about the sudden ending on the song, but I pulled this from a CD that had voice over. If anyone had a picture of Bobby, please let me know.
