@Tke you also start to think in a way that the music flows when you sleep too. so id imagine that your the realy smart kind. of intouch with your darkest side. hehe
@baconnathan1 I don't know about smart, but I do consider myself in touch with my darker side. I've always been emotionally attached to these types of pieces, they have both suited me and inspired me numerous times.
@TheCityDreamer, I do sometimes and also when I am walking back from a friend's in the dark. It allows you to get very philosophical and spiritual about the mysteries of the night!! Plus, I love your grammar!
As far as I know, no. The Midnight Syndicate write music for their own uses/movies/Halloween needs, and don't usually have a comparison to anything else. This CD was written for a haunted mansion tour, mostly, and as far as we know has no relation to anything named the same.
They might've just used the name because they liked it.
I figured I'd answer this one instead of the other... five... or something.
The 13th Hour isn't made for F.E.A.R. it's more of a halloween haunted house or something. I guess, if you want to call it something, it's classy halloween music.
I love Midnight Syndicate!!!!!!!!

Well, if you'd like just the songs itself you can buy them from online mp3 stores (I'm not sure about itunes)
If you'd like the actual CDs, however, you can either buy them during the Halloween season or you could go onto online CD stores such as Amazon.

Was this track named after The Mansion in the Mist book by John Bellairs?

I'm looking through the Syndicate "13th Hour" tracks for the F.E.A.R.-worthy tracks.
This might be one, but probably not the best.
