  • LOL at :30 in. Holy shit that was incredible.

  • I agree with most of the points in this video but up against an aggressive player who DOES know when to fold, you'd be eaten alive.

  • what a windbag.

  • Thumbs up if u watch this when u steam / are on tilt

  • I am quiting poker becoz of so many bad beats that seems untrue. It looks like i can not win becoz whatever i do, i lose to an idiot donk.

Its always a bad beat...so whats the point to play ?

  • A good skillful poker player can just get angry and cry now becoz donks are every where. They will call your AK with K9, QQ with Q10, AA with J8 and will win some how. Donks are the poker players now, both online and in live games.

Poker is dead now, once it was all about skills and now its all about luck. So whats the point to play poker now ?

  • what kind of poker calculator are you using ???

    could you tell me ?

  • i play low limit and often go broke. i like to play better. any advice?

  • the pros dont say use agreesion in 1 dollar sit n gos... they are calling stations

  • nice video man ! and ye can any one tell me from which movie is thet clip in ? ty much

  • @PyYrRoOo The Big Leblowski, of course!

  • I guess for Sng's its better to be more of a TAG in early stages right? but for cash games you have to mix it up otherwise LAG's players are gonna own you in cash games?

    Just a question

  • what movie is that ??? 1.15?? with the bowling :DD lmao

  • Good vids. Keep it up.

  • what statistic-programm is he using?

  • Nice video.;)

  • thanks marty.

  • I LOVE "The Big Lebowski"!!!!!!! I love all your vids also, cause i play low limit SnG

  • Great video, very original with The Big Labowski

  • I noticed in all these free roll tournaments, I tried being aggressive, hit top pair on the flop, non threatening, raise get called, turn is a blank, I go all in thinking aggressive works......and I get called by a flush draw. He hit his flush.

I do believe you are correct good sir.

  • Also I notice in that hand that your AF is 5.5 which is incredibly high. Does this mean that you were connecting with every flop... orr are there indeed some situations when aggression is more profitable than passivity at these limits.

  • i dont understand your min reraises. take the AJ hand, if he has 7-2 and you have AA ur giving him 4-1 and he should call. im not going to argue with ur results, because clearly you've been profitable. I just don't understand that at all. ur only connecting 1/3 of the time(and u just give up the rest of the time?), yes that guys got a vpip of 39%/26%pfr, so a bigger raise gets rid of his weaker holdings as well as getting more value on ur strong hand if we think he'll always call w say ace-rag.

  • im such a n00b at poker lol

i've only started to look into it and i rly want to learn but even here, a nice video but i wasn't getting much from it lol

  • Thanks for the vid, Marty! I've been so pissed of at these players at certain times, you wouldn't believe it.. I finally tried playing passively, and it it helped me knock out a few of'em, and eventually make some money out of it as well.

    Thanks again!

    Best regards from Norway

  • very good video marty !

    as always :D

and i agree with you about the this strategy , its really the only strategy who works at the 1$ sng up to 10$ .

i think i a bit more agressive then you but maybe because i am playing 12 tables at a time :)

  • nice video. Turtleknife for president. Free tips and videos yet ppl complain. Idiots who have something to say ask yourself this.. How much time have you spent to offer strangers free advice on something. Go look at turtleknifes stats and compare them to yours. My guess is that you are the loser

  • love it

  • In the very low limit tournaments, ie 1-5$ you basically just have to wait til you get good cards and fold until at least half of the field is gone. But as you get closer to the money you can take advantage of lots similar tight minded players by becoming more aggressive.

  • I play a bit above the limits this video is talking about and have to disagree with his theory on not being aggressive. Limping and calling is rampant at this level and its so exploitable. Be aggressive but you just gotta know when to back off

  • @Seanyboyh I think you are one of the guys we are talking about in this video. ;-)

  • @TurtleKnife Ok sure, im not gonna argue with you. Im sure you dont want to really be educating any player beyond these limits. Keep up the limping and calling people and stay where you are for the long term. Be aggressive and know when to slow down, thats the key to moving up. Good advice in the video but nothing to help a player move up and mix up his play

  • @Seanyboyh I see. So an bigger bankroll would not help you move up a level?

  • @TurtleKnife

Are you being serious? Or are you really having trouble reading?

Senyboyh is right, this tutorial will be helpful when youre playing $5 or maybe $10 sng´s.

But to play this style in higher limits, like $100+ (or basically any cashgame) will just make you look like a big donkey and you will be crushed.

A bigger bankroll is definately not enough to move up as the competition will be tougher.

Since you are player that even makes his own poker tutorials I hope you understand that.

  • @Seanyboyh be aggressive against retards who wont fold.. I hope you have a hand because they will call down with bottom pair. if you try to bluff braindeads at the microstakes you will have super high variance

  • I'm so aggressive I reraised myself all in once and I had to fold against me.

  • @Struckgold LoL

  • what medication do you use man ? i broke my monitor and 3 keyboards in 2 weeks daily uber tilt can't handle it anymore

  • Can I call you The Dude, man? LOL!!! Excellent video... by far the best... it even beat the phone call to vegas to harrass the poker pit bosses! Thanks for the laugh!

  • fell in love with your videos at the first glance, one word - coolio

  • Thanks Marty for all the tips and videos...very generous from you....appreciated.

    Guy;-)

  • i hope these fucking retarted idiots who fucking raise with shit all the time put this through there fucking Peanut shit head.

  • I hope they do not stop raising with crap, and keep right on doing whatever it is that they are doing to lose money in online poker.

  • don`t teach the fish

  • I get your point Randy, but I really feel that Fish will always be Fish, and they just won't be looking for videos or anything else to help their game. This type of content is for new poker players really wanting to get better.

  • @TurtleKnife

Good point.I agree with that. They just play and hope luck will win them pots without even considering improving their game.

But those kind of videos may make them think.

Greetz from Germany and good luck with pocket jacks in the future :-)

  • Really nice video :) i like it.

  • Great message Marty. Capitalizing on our opponent's unbridled aggression is a huge advantage we can have against these type of players.

  • Thank you Art. I know you have this down already.

  • you have a lot of patience

  • That is true, but mainly because of medication.

  • @TurtleKnife Could you please tell me what poker software u was using to calculate the green and yellow zone plus percentage chance of winning

  • @TurtleKnife Could you please tell me what poker software u was using to calculate the green and yellow zone plus percentage chance of winning

  • @TurtleKnife I thought they were quite better at the $10 + SnG's but judging from this video, there are still a whole lot of idiots out there :-)

Can you name me the software that you're using (that I don't understand for one bit) and tell me the costs to use it?

You play very solid tight and smart in my opinion.

  • Nice vid, looks like your sitngo play is as good as they get graph-wise, keep it up!

  • Martin thats a sick sharcksope grafic! congrats for your videos this one helped me a lot.

  • Somehow your videos just make so much sense to me. I just won a 461 player tournament using a similar style.

  • Make more videos on youtube marty, ur videos r fun to watch..

  • why do you min-reraise haha

  • why not? the min raise is pretty big considering the stack sizes

  • great video

  • I love your videos Marty!

I learned everything i know about playing low stake sit-n-go's from you. Gotta get back to it.

    Keep 'em coming! :D

  • Your Videos have really turned the conner

  • what's m-zone?

  • Its explained fully in the eBook noted in the video. Its all free, Dude!

  • I'd like your opinion on the minraise with Aces. You made it yourself in the video so you're probably all for it.

Do you use this at the higher limits as well

  • I don't do it, and I do not consider that raise a min-raise at all.

  • 5 Stars for that Vid, Duuuuude! :P

  • Smallball baby! ;) bud watch out that is a dangerous game!
