My wife got me the Shure 750s for Xmas last year and still work like when I first plugged them in I was real close to buying some beats by dre bro ... That's 2 pair of shures.. Lol... When they break on me I'm gonna buy another pair I'm really happy with them.. Great review BTW

do the earcups on the shure headphones come off too easily? I've had earcups come off whilst i'm mixing, this is really annoying as once your in a mix you don't have time to start trying to get earcups back on again, it's distracting. Thanks.

Stanton are crappe, i have one and it was theworst buy i haver done, they break on the joins in 3 mounth, my senheiser were cheaper but the quality is amazing they aqre used everyday and are like news. the stanton quality should be improved. the sound its ok.

@Icenstoiler DJ headphones have a much longer line. Theyre over ear. And the sound quality is almost always better

Is the aerial7 headset worth it just to lissen to music on your ipod and not to "dj"? Before i had skullcandy ear buds but they crapped out on me.

of the 4, which had the best bass? i do alot of dubstep, and i was looking at the 3000's. would they be a good choice?

@smoak666 The 3000's sounded fine although a few people have posted here that they had the 3000's and they crapped out. To be honest if I remember correctly the Tanks were pretty bass heavy but over all they didn't sound very clean.

I just got a few questions,

For the Shure 750 dj, how long is the cable? I was thinking about using these as portable audiophile headphones.

If it is a bit too long, what kind of cable would work for it that is short, just so I can put my ipod in my pocket and walk around with them.

the Shure SRH750DJ comes with a detachable, coiled 3 m (10 ft.) cable. The optional available straight replacement cable HPASCA1 is a bit shorter with 2.5 m
