Bah. After spending forever figuring out how to dodge his grenade barrage and lure him into the canisters, I watch this... hah. Feel like an idiot.

I might need some more combat oriented augs though. Didn't read much about the game before I started playing, so I thought I could hack and sneak my way through. Oh well.

Out of morbid curiousity, is it possible to kill or stun any of the bosses with a big object like a fridge (as in carry it from somewhere)? I killed a lot of regular enemies using the fridge which proves surprisingly useful so I'm curious. Thanks.

Yea, wasnt sure why some people had a problem with this guy either to be honest. I was specced almost purely for hacking by the time i got to him, and was on normal.

2 frags and a clip or two from a combat rifle later, he was dead, first try.

And this video shows you dont even need -that- much.

That must have been on the lowest difficulty I'm guessing, he took far more damage to go down for me.

This boss was so easy it hurt for me...

I only used 1 or 2 stun grenades and a pistol and he went down in less than 1 pistol mag. on normal difficulty :/

I didn't even blow any barrels... only 1 or 2 gas tanks that stand together on your right when you begin...

@jamesfish05 Who the fuck DOESN'T play games the way their developers intended them to be played, everything is balanced for "normal", some people prefer playing the hardest for their first, and I don't bitch about them doing so, their choice.. But the way DXHR works, the difficulty doesn't mean much, considering it's all about not being seen and 1shot1killing, knocking out or bypassing enemies anyway...

ehh, after i died twice trying to shot him in the face :P it was concussion + almost fully upgraded pistol to his face and it still did nothing. I just use 2 gas + 2 he nades to kill him.

to be fair, i had no idea that those barrels blew up just from the impact. i assumed i would have to shoot them. i set up three red barrels and just shot them as he got close.

I didn't find the first boss difficult at all. Most of the time I didn't even use proper bullets against him, because I didn't know that there's no non-lethal approach to bosses. Well, he killed himself, by shooting at all those gas bottles and so on. The second boss on the other hand... Still haven't worked out how to beat her...

What setting was this on? I'm playing on Give me Deus Ex. Died a few times to Barret, got him in the end. Wasn't sure what all the fuss was about either. Funny though, gamers complain that games are to easy these days, and then once there's a game with a bit of challenge everyone starts bitching about it.

@JoryMW7 Well I'm not one of these gamers, i actually enjoined the challenge, I'm not bitching because boss was "hard" but because of this...

I had a COMPLETE! stealth character

The only augment that was useful during this boss was the invisibility

And the only lethal weapon i had was a pistol!

So imagine my shock when i got, in no way, a prepared character, and they send me this!

And i dint know about "this" trick at the first time playing!

At least he was dump as a mule -_- that made it easy

Best part about this vid is thati t's a kick in the face to all those "ghost hacker 1337" characters that complain that they can't kill this boss because it's "too hard".
