August 7th, 2008 Severe Storm in Germantown, MD with Runaway shopping carts.

It could have easily turned into a tornado.

It is possible, I don't remember at this point, however I would say most likely no. It is very common with these kind of storms to get a lot of scud (low hanging non-rotating clouds). However, I was seeing a lot of rotation right over my head. But it is possible it was just some isolated shear, not indicative of a meso. Nice storm nonetheless.

He filmed this next to michaels and pepboys next to the 97 ride on bus last stop. I know that area very well =P 1/4 a mile or so from sally k ride elementary haha

lol the one video where i was more interested in seeing the carts than the storm itself haha.. that was some whicked cart video there.. turning the corners like that.. lol wow
