hi i saw you on youtube and i have a question,my female mix breed,of roddie and husky has a nervous habbit,she is at home alone in the day time,i work,she has taken to licking a spot on her hip until it is red raw and bleeding,i have gotten cream from the vet,but nothing is working,this has just started,how can i get her out of this habit,i am scared she is gonna get an infection,i love her very much,any help would be appriciated,thanks so much
Hi, I'm sorry I didn't see your comment earlier. Hope your hound is okay. What's happening is common with dogs. It's called a hot spot. Simple medication from your vet and an e-collar to prevent him from licking the wound is probably all that's needed. Thanks!
