would you ever consider making instructions for this? i know you make instructions for many of your other creations but i would just love to know how to make the gearbox bit, because i would like to make a similar counter and it isn't terribly clear in the video.

why do you put the basketballs in one at a time, will it jam if you put them all in?

@SomeLegoKid only it's more demonstrative. My module accept the bulks of 20 balls.

@Gage5137 thanks, I am 21 year old and I prepare a master degree of mechanical engineering . At the moment, I don't want to work at lego, because I am more interested in the real mechanical.

Thats really smart! Why did you add a linear clutch?

@Zblj1987 the first is for the motor, to prevent a lock. The second is used to synchronise the wheel with the counter (to center the center of counter in the display window).
