Whether or not the TORTURE was effective or not is irrelevant. It has been deemed to be a criminal act. America does not torture, mainly for the same reason we dont allow police to bust down your door without a warrant,take whatever they want, and hold you indefinitely. And that's all assuming torture is an effective means of gathering RELIABLE intel, which it is demonstrably shown to be INeffective. As to the claim that pelosi et al knew about it and did nothing, i say prosecute them as well.

They would kill him and blame it on some obscure obsolete 19th century racist cult if he prosecuted the Bush Administration in any way for this.
