I played against an old NBA player in a pick up game his name Jo Jo White . He never jumped higher than he needed to and ran me and some college bound HS players off the court with a bunch of scrubs . I played another pick up game Phil Smith was an NBA player unfortunately again on the other team. But he was young playing for GSW he did what ever he wanted to on the court. Lost again
@jsj85 There were 11 teams. And names: OLD, NEW: *No team after that.
Boston Celtics, Same. Baltimore Bullets, *None. Chicago Stags, *none. Fort Wayne Pistons, Detroit Pistons. Minneapolis Lakers, Los Angeles Lakers. Providence Steam Rollers, none. New York Knickerbockers, Same.
Philadelphia Warriors, Golden State Warriors.
Rochester Royals, Sacramento Kings. St. Louis Bombers, None.
Syracuse Nationals, Philadelphia 76ers. You're welcome. :P
@ChujCiWJedzenie They played in an era where the lane was much narrower. Therefore it was a lot easier for centers to block and contest shots. There was also no 3 second rule so centers could stay in the paint all day. You cannot look at the FG% of players today and compare it to then. That's foolish. That .258% is probably like 40% or 42% today.
My Grandfather said he could Jump over the Moon if he wanted to. He use to watch the Knicks at the old MSG and when the warriors came to town he said between Jumping Joe and Pitching Paul it was a Jump Shooting Aerial Show.
first high scoring man.

@MIKESOWELL no, you're wrong, the other guys had so much better fg% - at the same level as today so stop bullshitting me
ChujCiWJedzenie 7 months ago
@ChujCiWJedzenie You really need to do your research. Look at the FG% of all the players who played in his era, and see how it compares.
