You shouldn't throw away your DVDs because that would make the rip illegal. Come on guys I thought even Teckzilla would know the legality when it comes to DVD ripping.
@Abcdds2 Most of the time the idea of copying a dvd that you "own" is also illegal... It's just something people think they deserve to be allowed to do...
these guys have been around since the screensavers. for you n00bs. Shush!!! Second. yeah you can just set file for sharing over the network blah blah blah.... but for HMServers. you need to make a raid array with high data transferring and optimizing your os and hardware to be able to stream with loss less audio and video. this really applys when your streaming 1080p raw content. a lot of these programs recode or "transcode" to machines to be able to play. so this is pretty basic basic stuff.
This video is all good but damn Patrick needs to turn his hat around he has to be in his later 30s and doing that at that age is a long ways from being cool. LOL
Yo can upload a LOT more than 10 minutes... The 10 minuter "limit" can be exceeded for more subscribed channels, it's just not publicly announced by YouTube.
Netflix streaming sucks. I have the 360 and 15mbit internet. I was told that ALL streaming content is formatted in 720P and that the connection to netfilx MUST SEE 8mbps or you do not get HD. I've only been able to get HD ONE TIME! They wanted me to call Microsoft saying that it was an issue with my 360... Ummm no.
I would have Apple TV today but I have all my movies on DIVX for my DVD DIVX player. Please get over H.264 and open up your codec playability (pretending Apple is listening).
