This is so great! I was actually looking for the cadence when I stumbled upon this, and now it's in my favorites! Good job and thank you for your service :)
It's a far shot from lyrical genius, but that's entirely made up for by the fact that the sound of the song is downright hypnotic. I've literally been listening to it for hours.
There is a difference in fighting for corporate empire and defending Freedom.. We have been lied to by our corrupt government. You made an oath to protect and defend The Constitution!! from ALL enemies foreign and DOMESTIC. When the time comes for each member of the military to decide whether they will serve the government or the people of the United States I hope you choose right.

First time i heard it, my PLT Sgt sung it for us marching from School. if i never thought a cadence/song would bring a tear to my eye. this did. ey brother. it aint about how u sound, its the message you're singing.

Yes Sir. I developed the chords and strumming along with the last four verses. The first four are from a cadence I learned at Ft. Benning called Freedom.
By the way. The part that starts with "An old man on a busy street" Does that have some hidding meaning to you. For me who aint american it sounds like gibberish, but feels like it actually have a deeper hidding personal meaning for you. Would be fun to know

and you are better than you think

Much better singer then you think (most mainstream "musicians" use technology to make themselves sound like something they are not)

Btw, What Coords do you play in the song. Would make it a bit easier if i knew, rather than have to figure them otu mseyfl. Never been good at that

Am, Dm, and E... then just follow the strumming and hammers.

Yeah... it is a little long. The first four verses were from a cadence I learned at Fort Benning. The other four verses I wrote when I got home.
