  • @addictedtobass42 Thank you for checking it out!

  • I envisioned a more rapid-fire Mitch Mitchell-esque drummer playing this

  • i cant beleive you guys would play an exellant old song like this.you guys have done a great job.

  • the puppy will live

zeke's guitar lesson for beginers #1

  • far out

  • yes. looks like y'all are having a blast... rock on

  • theres no MR. Sassafrass lol the line is IN THE MIST OF SASSAFRASS.. but sure brings back memories of CHUM AM in the 60s

  • Ahh I missed that one. My favorite line from Jeff was from immigrants song by zep. In our video here of that from this same show he sings 'We come from the ice and snow" instead of' we come from the land of the ice and snow.' I was thinking we were snowmen. Glad it struck a chord for ya! We try not to get too worried about our mistakes.. we try..

  • @boondawgle Well if I had my lyric sheets infront of me on a stand like some band members,I probably would not make a occasional small mistake besides, I always felt that was rather unprofessional. This was the second time I had performed infront a live audience in 23 years.

  • @Jefffriss there is no doubt that I would sing better if I was not reading half the time... As far as it being unprofessional..well .. I have heard the before.. and I would agree it would look better but.. I bet 80 percent of the 'professional' rock bands are doing it - usually well hidden. start watching for it and you will see. In any case Jeff, I hope you didn't take offense. Boondawgle as all about making mistakes and turning them into goodtakes

  • Wow...I haven't heard this since I was a kid and my brother had the 45. Who's idea was it to do this great classic? Nice job.

  • We asked Jeff to come out to this gig and sing a few with us and this is one of the songs he picked. Glad you liked it.

  • Freakin' SWEET!!!! I had this on 45 when I was a wee lad of about 5 or 6. My first record!!!!

  • Cool man!

  • Really a good version, man! I like the organ, gives it a Deep Purple feel! Super

  • Thank you Zevon1964 - I will let Willy (our keyboard player) know you singled him out. Your comments are really appreciated - you may find some other interesting stuff off our main page. Peace!

  • not many bands would attempt that classic tune.

    A + outstanding

  • Thanks 4 taking the time to say!A+, no.We had maybe 1 at practice. This version came off(some heart and soul) & it was cool 2 hit a note with a few. We played this out once.If possible, we try 2 be worth seeing 2 nights in a row(a surprise goes a long way). The Milwaukee music scene can be difficult 4originals so we try 2 stay happy playing that game while keeping them happy.Give our originals a look, comments mean everything-lack of also.rates rule.even bad.Again.Thanks for giving it a look.

  • Great cover! Especially for such a complicated tune!

  • Thanks!
