Because Japan surrendered 3 days aftter the 2nd nuke. Truman demanded that Japan surrender or he would drop an atomic bomb on them every three days. On Aug 6th we dropped one on Hiroshima, on Aug 9th we dropped one on Nagasaki. Japan surenderred on Aug 12th thats why we dropped 2.

If the nuke wasn't dropped on japan, the us would of invaded Japan. Estimated death tolls for the invasion was well over 5mil people both from Japanesse troops, U.S and British. Hundreds of thousands died on Hiroshima and Nagasaki though it would not compare to what would of happened if we diddn't drop the bomb. Also if the invasion failed then Japan could of devoloped necular technology and win the pacific war in ww2. Obvioulsly you have zero clue what your talking about.

Because Japan surrendered 3 days aftter the 2nd nuke. Truman demanded that Japan surrender or he would drop an atomic bomb on them every three days. On Aug 6th we dropped one on Hiroshima, on Aug 9th we dropped one on Nagasaki. Japan surenderred on Aug 12th thats why we dropped 2.
