  • lolz she pretty much just showed the world how quick change works

  • It's beautiful !!! but : What a pity than it's not in high definition !!!

  • the drums are amazing! esp. to dance to!

  • got a thumbs up from me

  • They're great but I hated this dance, too hard, too many tricks, too much speed. There was nothing sensual or seductive about it. The crowd probably appreciated it because of the wow factor (costume) but it wasn't for me. I prefer actual dancing and less flash.

Wat? I know it's hard to appreciate what they've demonstrated in this video if you're not versed in other dance styles. The first part was full of very basic rumba figures, actions and timings (how is this not 'actual dancing' escapes me). The second part is a more contemporary approach to rumba (how you think is not 'actual dancing' escapes me as well) . It is more interpretive of the music's atmosphere and texture rather than rhythm.

  • @sagisli (2)

The third part of the demonstration is a mix of the two. Basic figures done with a contemporary variation that still leaves them easily distinguishable with a balanced combination of contemporary and basic coreography.

How can you say this is not actual dancing? Time to stop taking those woo woo pills. Or start taking them.

  • @AceyBlade No need to insult me simply over a difference of opinion. Listen very carefully, Joanna is an amazing technician, flawless perhaps, but there's something missing for me. I can't put my finger on it, but she is separate from the music, perfect movement but lacking in the connection. Whatever it is, it's not my cup of tea. For the record,I don't take "woo woo pills" since I don't need them, perhaps you should follow your own advice

  • @sagisli

To call this not dancing is equal to abusing woo woo pills.

"she is separate from the music"

    I... uh, I don't even...

  • @AceyBlade Let's just agree to disagree. Please enjoy the video (sincerely). There was no offense intended towards Joanna. Both my comments acknowledged she was great, perhaps even flawless.

  • This s awesome Rumba cam magic show!!!

  • I really need to know how do we make the costume....

  • what do we call for the costume??? Coz my group want to make those kind of costumes...

  • what is the name of the song???? please

  • jeah..:) i pozdrowienia z Zielonej Góry;-)... z ul.Bema dokladnie..i wiadomo o co chodzi:)

  • ło this is a basic rumba and very very emazing !!

I love Joanna and Michael <3

  • now thats what I call a quick change of wardrobe!

  • I think they are awesome, but I like Slavik and Karina too... especially their Ruma to Cuando te Beso.

  • Dude. This is like so gorgeous I want to cry.

  • the way they dance it's just sooo beautiful!!they're look perfect together=]]

  • i liked slavik and karina.. :(

  • good for u=]].lolzz

  • Fajnie mieć takiego utalentowanego rodaka....

  • um is it just me or are they off beat in the beginning. I mean the technique is great, but the timing was weird. It didn't look like they were stepping on the 2 beat.

  • I guess it's only the music... this is one weird rumba music, it's hard to find the beat for the first time.

  • they weren't but it was on purpose. They were dancing on the 3rd beat instead just to be different. ricardo and yulia do a similar thing in their cha cha where they go into a new yorker on count 1 instead of 2.

  • This rumba figure is JUST LIKE my rumba figure...

  • Cudownie...niesamowicie...pięknie...

  • The change in tempo and music is beautiful.

  • Best girl ever on this planet.. nobody can ever beat her.. she is a LEGEND!!!! Great partnership.. love them!!

  • this is prefect... super perfect.. the costume was very very awesome!

  • just excellent

  • I tried to post before, but it didn't work. Oh well, here I go again! First of all, thank you so much for posting this, I think it's wonderful a graceful portrayal of true talent. But what is this music that I seem to recognize, but can't quite remember? The classical part. It's haunting me! Any ideas? Thank you. (Now I'm definitely one of those youtubers)

  • the classical part is the song called Cuando te beso. This song was used by Slavik Karina in their show dance rumba before :)

  • ridiculous. I know that song inside-out.

This is NOT "Cuando Te Beso" (another very beautiful song)

This music is part of Ennio Morricone's

Academy Award-nominated score for "The Mission".

    Maybe you watched the movie?

  • NONONONO No Cuando te beso :o))))))))))))) That is not ocmpletely quando te beso even when quando te beso is also wonderful song. This song is from Magnificient Seven or some other famous western movie like that. Cheers

  • Hi, thank you very much for uploading this! It's wonderful! But is there any way you could tell me the name of the song/songs, or the artist playing the music in the background? It's going to stick with me for a long time! (I've become one of those youtubers, but I can't help it!) Thank you.
