I had the great pleasure of attending a 'Come and Sing' event with John Rutter at Derby Cathedral in 2007. To sing the exquisite Requiem in his presence was an experience I will never forget. He is your dream choirmaster!

I have also gone to New York and had the opportunity to sing under the direction of John Rutter at Carnegie. He is really quite an amazing person and musician. The experience was unforgettable!

I really need to check my comments more often. Yeah, this was from June '08, when we were practicing in the banquet room at the Grand Hyatt before our performance at Carnegie Hall.

The whole experience was awesome, and it shows what a great guy John Rutter is to have personally conducted the rehearsals when it would have been easier to get someone else to help us practice.

I think I have been in that exact same room, doing the exact same thing.

I went with my choir to sing in Carnegie Hall with John Rutter. Is this in a hotel? Because we had our practices with him in a room that looked just like that.
