hey man , i am going japan in april i have booked hotel and flight,,, how do you get JR PASS, i need a train ticket i can use for 2 weeks and i need to use bullet trains can you help me . i going tokyo and osaka,, i need to get bullet train tokyo to osaka, i do not no what i am doing lol . cheers
Google the following, "JR East Pass", and you can read up information on where you'll need to purchase the pass, and how you go about retrieving one. To be safe, I bought mine through my travel agency in America first, then used it's receipt as a voucher for tickets in Japan. Either way is fine for you, but the JR center is right outside the arrival building in Narita.
hey , i found a place in london where i can buy jr pass voucher that i exchange when i arrive in japan, do i exchange this as soon as i step off plane or when i exit airport. please need help lol ,i well nervous lol cheers
When you exit the airport. There are English Help centers in many locations throughout the Narita airport, I used them extensively before I left for OAK Hotel, (in fact, they reserved a room for me the night I arrived, they were a HUGE help)!
Well, I may not be the one to ask, to be honest with you. I had no planning for my trip, outside of knowing I needed to be in the Aomori area on the 16th, and then in the Nagano area on the 18th. That's it. Everything else was just filling, and I tried my hardest to entertain myself on the way there. Is walking around japan alone scary though? No. However, that's only my "un-informed" opinion. You'll just have to feel out the country for yourself.
