  • This should have been the final boss theme of mega man 2

  • this..........is..................KICK ASS

  • Seriously, this sounds like Megaman xD

  • DragonForce I choose you!

  • lol, link VS Gannon final battle!!! oh, and duke nukem sux ass

  • This needs to be in Megaman...NOW!!!!!!

  • I suggest you drop the TTFAF.mid into a Duke Nukem 3D folder under Windows 98 or 95, rename it to Stalker.mid, and load the first level, and show us what you get.

  • Reminds me of Chrono Trigger.

  • It sounds the same hahaha

  • It sounds the same hahaha

  • NES ORGASM

  • Thats a first Guitar Hero version on Sega.

  • Hey, it sounds just like the orgiganal!

  • This is great but for a boss battle i'd like BYOB [8-bit]

  • Its better than live version. Studioforce/8bit Force

  • Omg this is so for the Pokemon elite four xD

  • They shoulda played this in the brutal legend ending scene

  • this really could be the end bosstheme for some jrpg (without the voice add)

  • could of sworn i was playing final battle on pokemon red series EPIC

  • @ssj4mario FINAL boss.

  • lol mario on crack

  • cool

  • This tune is fucking compsed to be an epic final battle theme in a turn-based SNES RPG!

  • i effing love this

  • If only this were the original then it would be a good song.

  • xD....genial esta como para un juego de nes xD ( en todo caso le iria bien en un megaman DX )

  • Looks the same to me, only this is better played.

  • 4:00 is my fav part

  • What's the point. DragonForce and 8-bit version both sound like arcade game music.

  • Maaaaaarioo!! 8D

  • Good one but its lack of portamento/glide and lfo effect for me. Nice stuff anyway gj

  • I am so going to put this in my MMORPG im making.

  • i love these 8-bit remix.

  • it sounds like a rpg action game like zelda or sumthing

  • PACMAN

  • Depending on what chipset they used, and how many tracks this is, it actually would be pretty simply for an older SNES machine to play it. Trouble is, find me a cartridge programming rig these days under a bajillion dollars.

  • @vharshyde Isn't there some ROM editor somewhere?

  • @OmriSama yeah ill put it mine

  • Sounds like it could be from an early Zelda game...

  • Or an intense game of Pac-Man.

  • Yeah, like one of the highest stages!

  • greatest idea ever!!! somebody should do an 8 - bit remix of the song tokyo drift!!!!!

  • Im gonna find a way to put this on the ganondorf battles on my SNES >:O

  • I loled through the whole song!

  • Is there an MP3 format for this?

  • u culd just download it and convert it if u cnt find one

  • sounds like somthing out of final fantasy mystic quest

  • This would probably blow up my NES. That would be cool, though.

  • this totally sounds like a song from one of the old final fantasies, old ninja gaidens or double dragon

  • Sounds like a perfect bossbattle song... LOVE THIS!!!

  • So fucking awesome. 5/5

  • this is frickin awesome

  • sounds like im fighting a sonic final boss

  • METALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • there is guitar hero for commodore 64. really.

  • Yeah, some dude made a hack, right?

  • i really doubt the NES could handle this

  • it would be interesting to try though^.^

  • guitar hero -1: nes edition.

    lol

  • @joshual2153 More like -20, lol

  • Nice!

  • LOL sweet

  • Sounds more like a SEGA Genesis game than a Nintendo game.

  • i would have loved to hear this in sonic 2 or 3

  • Agreed XD

  • how can i convert mp3 to MIDI ?

  • Converting an mp3 to a MIDI is pretty much impossible. I suggest you get a program like Guitar Pro, find a guitar tab (preferably one with drums and bass too) and then export it as a midi.

  • what is a guitar tab???

  • It's sort of an instructional thing that shows you how to play a song. You can find a load of tabs at ultimate-guitar (dot*) com.

  • @McMaNGOS .com

  • epic win

  • The credit part of a Quest game.... jajaja

    Amazing!

  • How'd you make this? I wanna try for Revolution Deathsquad.

  • this song is way better like this, no vocals is what i mean

  • why didn't they use this for the first legend of zelda final boss?

  • Run away from the ghost in the haunted house!

  • this should be part of the soundtrack to the most epic game ever

  • wow.. it sounds like a FF Game

  • sams in the picture fred isnt

  • tough choosing between Zelda and Megaman...let's say megaman

  • .....this song is over 9000! bits!

  • wow it does sound 2 different!

  • i dont get why sam isnt in this picture, was it taken before he jioned the band or do they all h8 him?

  • What do you mean...isn't that him at the end on the right.

  • yh soz i meant fred

  • sam is in there e's in the back

  • 8 bits of AWESOME!!! 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000/1

  • EPIC! 5/5

  • cool!

  • MARIO in the beginning

  • Whats funny about the picture is the 3 guys with long hair are the ones staring at the camera, the other 2 are staring off into something else..lol.

  • wow this sounds better then the live version :D

  • sounds like the final boss music from a FF game. HUGE SUCCESS!!!

  • This is really cool! an exellent remix, if i had to chose, id certanly pick this version

  • bet chinks can play better than you ass.

  • only gets progressively better

  • Too many channels used for it to be 8-bit...but it made me lol at the thought of a Guitar Hero on the Genesis. gj

  • Depends on what you consider 8-bit. This probably couldn't be played on a NES, but you could probably make it play on a C64, or any other powerfull 8-bit system.

  • I believe this was made for a NES under PC emulation, but using a VRC7 or/and N106 extension (which can create better samples). Go listen to a few Famicompo NSFs, they are amazing!

  • this would sound perfect in a sonic game

  • Final boss:Ultimate Robotnik about to explode teh worlds.

  • Hate to sound like a killjoy, but some of these synths sound too good to be on a NES.

  • its df LIVE :D

  • Mega Man got a new power up!

    Guitar Blaster Get!

  • Sounds more like a GameBoy xP Kickass

  • I can see it now... "Dragonforce: The Video Game!" That'd be epic.

  • I humbly request an MP3 for this remix.

  • Awesome thank you

  • This is so awesome....

How do make it 8 bit?

And can u make a mp3 file for this please?

  • This sounds better than a live Dragon Force performance haha, just kidding. Cool song man.

  • put up mp3s for these lolz

  • yes this is nice

  • the dragonforce guys would love this.

  • This would make awesome use in an 'Escape the level before it blows up' Stage

  • Or a epic entrance to the final level XD

  • yeah, a 7 minute intro.....I mean come on! that makes perfect sense!!!lol! JK man.

  • @MKwarrior666 kinda like the epic moment in brutal legend?

  • @OmfgABiscuit Which one, there are so many? xD

  • @MKwarrior666 where the demon sends in the bleeding deaths to destroy everything and you have to escape the palace type place in the hotrod whilst through the fire and the flames blasts out of yer speakers

  • This would be fitting for a megaman 2 stage.

BTW, how did you get it 8-bit sounding?

  • HAHAHA TOTALLY! Some of the songs on that game are JIVE, too. So let's have Capcom remake the soundtrack and reissue the game. Let's get on that.

  • they might just do it. after all, they did remake megaman 1. i was thinking hack the game, and put this song in it, but your idea sounds much better. i'll ask capcom what their plans are for it.

  • dis my ringtone!

  • disturbing analogy but it makes sense

  • Does it really? Not to me.... 11 million dead...fast guitar... Sorry, can't quite see it.

  • intense

  • Ha.

  • wtf??

  • LOL reminds me of a Sonic The Hedgehog level.

  • The intro sounds a lot like the lava levels in the original Mario game lol

  • Lol! Partwise it actually does xD

  • My project should not continue...

    I thought I was original...

Good job, you have bested me.

  • This song is maybe one to four BPM faster than the actual song. I played them both at the same time and this version pulled ahead by a small fraction, about a half measure at halfway. I stopped because my computer was slowing down, but still. Excellent job! 5/5

  • I like how the one part they try to sound like a video game you can't duplicate it to sound like a video game (4:56)

  • Depends on what you call 8-bit. Sure, this is possible on the C64, and would make a great tune. But it's not possible, for example, on the NES, which only has 2 square channels, 1 triagle, 1 noise and 1 DPCM. How did you do this by the way? Tracker with samples (for example, MadTracker) or what?

  • imagine this against dracula on castlevania

  • wow damn dude nice job. this feels like it should have been in some 8 bit game back in the day.

  • It should've been.

  • mad as hell i love these 8bit remixes

  • Is there a way you can give me a link to the MP3? Please and thank you? Your work is seriously awesome. I'd like to listen to it besides from YouTube.

  • Go to MediaConverter DOT org, paste in the video url, and select the format MP3.

  • Reminds of Final Fantasy. This would make a great boss theme!

  • If your gonna be an ass shut yours.

  • There's no rule stating that every Youtube comment has to be positive.

  • Yes,true. I don't think people should rate a comment as poor just because they don't agree with the opinion of the person who wrote that comment, that should be reserved for abusive comments and spam. It's a pretty ill-advised system if you ask me.

  • I agree that not all comments have to be positive, but if you're going to be negative, at least be constructive.

  • I believe I was being constructive. I personally feel that Dragonforce is generic, overly processed and focuses too much on technicality and speed, and too little on originality and interesting phrasing. Its appeal is in its excessiveness.

  • Woah. You can insult Dragonforce anyday of the week, but when you decide to insult the entire genre of power metal, I say you should think again.

Also, critisising Dragonforce is not critisising this video.

  • I didn't necessarily insult it. It's just not my kind of music. I don't mind it, but only a few bands are worth listening to in my opinion. Most of it follows the same idea.

and technically, crticizing this video IS criticizing dragonforce because the video is about them.

  • Yeah, but in my opinion, my 8-bit remix is better than the original song :P

  • Lol...agreed

  • If you don't like Dragonforce, WHY THE FUCK DID YOU WATCH THE VIDEO?!

  • I wanted to see if an 8 bit version could come out any better then the original. I give McMangos points for talent, but still. It's dragonforce.

  • i like 8-bit noises

  • 8-Bit Dragonforce? I never knew anything could be so damn cool.

  • Oh shit man! This is too awesome!

  • 8 bit is fun fun

  • AWesome !!!!! no match this up with mario and you've got cool

  • Great idea!

  • Freakin awsome dude XD

  • awesome FTW

  • Sounds like a megeman song :)

  • Sounds like a megaman game because megaman had the most advanced 8-bit sound back in the day.

    Be an awesome battle song.

  • Lol wait guyz, it still sounds the sa-*is shot*

    x_x

  • You should listen to ckln 88.1 fm and ciut 89.5 fm (via their website if not in toronto, canada) for 8-bit mixes.

Also, keep on nes-ing it up!!

  • sounds like mega man credits music.(i know it's kinda nerdy to know the tune of the credits in a game)

  • no,its cool.ladies love megaman nerds.
