Hi I have followed every step but when I load the priiloader it just freezes at the screen that tells me to press the a button and I am pressing A button , but noting , I have tried rebooting the wii and holding down the reset button . My wii is 2 close to 3 years old. I HBC on my wii with soft mod from SSBB. I believe my version was 4.1 when it got installed. my brother upgraded to a 4.3 /sigh. but all my home brew stuff still works emulators and stuff. I recently just started getting GC games downloaded and saw you can play back ups on wii. i've watched vids and stuff how to do it but every time i try and install i get 2011 error when installing ios36. Not sure what to do

You NEED a standard SD Card, Up to 2GB, to softmod your Wii, SDHC Cards will NOT work.

Can i use a backup disc of Lego Star wars to get into the hackmii installer. I have a hardmodded wii running on 4.3E. It runs backups perfectly but i would really like to get it to work with usb loader and other suff and there is NO WAY that i can get any of the original discs that are needed for the softmod (I'm in bosnia and the only original game we can buy here is Wii sports :D)

Worked great. 4.3u. My only issue is I can not get wii64 to read ROM's off my external HDD. It will only read them off my SD card. No biggie though, seems like a common problem. Love softmodded wii.... it truely is amazing. And yes, online playing does not have any effect.

one for my son and one for my son's friend they are both 9 years old. I was not able to keep up with the new games money wise and was tired of buying new games to replace scratched ones. excelent video, I was looking for the HBC only to run my games from emulators on SDcard and I foud a complete set of tools and HBC windows to hack and have more chances to eploit my wii. This is a very good tutorial. Worked great for downgrading. I used the smash stack with smash bros brawl game and not jodi game but none the less, all around great job. This video set me on the 100% successful downgrade from 4.3u to 4.1 with a new Wii just off the shelf… Thank you much.

@bichplzzz in order to run some apps included in this you need the SD card in the wii meaning when you open the homebrew channel you need the SD card in it to load homebrew media or a USB drive configured to load homebrew through homebrew channel.

if you didnt get yours to work yet, i took out my memory card then turned my wii on. It booted regular, so then i forget i either just held restart until it went into priiloader or put the card back in and held restart... but to get out of it just take out your card and turn it on
