  • Good job, bro!

I'm not a guitar guy, but aren't guitars supposed to have pickups?

The little rectangle thing under the part of the string where you strum.

(Just making sure I get it right. XD )

  • @YoyoingPony That is correct ;) This guitar is a "Line6 Variax 700" google it ;) it is a modelling guitar and the pickups are in the bridge where the strings are directly attached...

  • @tertnesen Ah, gotcha. ;) Thank you!

    And keep on rockin'!

  • @tertnesen

    Piezzo pick ups?

  • @KreatorOfDeath1985 Yes, it is a line6 variax 700, i tmodels 25 different guitars, in this case an old les paul... google variax ;)

  • @tertnesen Sound better than i thought piezo pick ups could sound

usually its for getting an acoustic sound out of your guitar

  • @KreatorOfDeath1985 the acoustic guitars on this is also awesome, do a search here on youtube for variax demo :)

  • thumbs up! this is so great cover, man!

  • Awesome job man, I just uploaded a cover of this myself, check it if you have the time. again great job! thumbs up

  • @SeanAsheOfficial Thanks man, checked your version, it's really good :)

  • hey do you have tabs for this??

  • @klanganke Hey, I got them off the net (google for it, I use guitarpro when possible) ... but I think most of them contained smaller errors of some sort, so I did alot by ear...

  • Like a boss.

  • W0W!

  • Wheres the pickups??

  • @JakeyA7X line6.com/variax/

    (in the bridge)

  • Great cover, you just made me set my new goal

  • is that a synth guitar?

nice cover btw, i still find it funny how nobody's managed to do the rhythm of the chord part porperly :S

  • @crazyedd123 Thanks :)

Not a synth guitar, but a modelling guitar, do a google for "line6 variax 700 guitar" :)

damn, I did't get the chord part right? :/ let's call it artistic freedom then ;p

  • nice guitar

  • Nice cover mate. You nailed the solo ^^ It kinda looks like your stickin' the finger at 2:17 lol. :p

  • @theamazingzivmaster haha, yes indeed, certain chords make me do that ;p "flipping the bird" not really what you wanna do towards an audience ;) (luckilly I am no longer an active player, only enjoying the guitar at the home office :) )

  • Great cover \m/ And that guitar tone is very good

    Congrats

  • @MrMetalMayhem Thank you :)

  • I don't like your guitar...

  • @pedrorox22 Well, you don't have to ;)

  • no pick ups waaaaaaaaaaaaaa?

  • @Breakx22 check: line6.com/variax/

The pickup is the bridge, do yourself a favor and read the above link ;)

  • What guitar is that? And why is there a gloriuous absence of pickups?

  • @superstriker00 The Line6 Variax guitar have no pickups, it's in the bridge :)

    Check line6.com/variax/

  • @tertnesen How does that work?

  • @superstriker00 It uses a piezo electric mic in the bridge and a onboard computer models the guitar type you want, in all essence it is like 25 different guitars in one, from gibson, fender strats to banjo and 12 string accoustic guitars :) do a search right here for "variax demo" and you will get it shown and explained :) it is a very cool guitar to use ... Variax 700 is the one I have.

  • @tertnesen This guy does a pretty good job demonstrating a Variax 700 and some of it's capabilities:

    youtube.com/watch?v=Vl0w8i7sDa4&feature=related

  • @tertnesen This sounds like something I'd be interested in, how much do they cost?

  • @superstriker00 Don't remember, but if you are in the USA they are a helluwa lot cheaper then here in Norway I think ;)

  • @tertnesen Well, let me ask you this, then. I am only 14, I've only been playing for 2 years, but I do have a band, and we do play shows, just so you take me seriously here, I am actually a fairly skilled guitarist for my time playing. I want a guitar that can be used for everything from punk, to reggae, to metal, to prog, and to everything inbetween. Is this guitar a good investment for what I want?

  • @superstriker00 Indeed it would be a good investment for that.. :)

The Variax 300 is the cheapest one, but it has the exact same electronics and sounds as the 700. I recommend you google for line6 variax and also search for it here on youtube, I am sure you will be amazed by it's capabilities :)

  • @tertnesen Thank you so much for your help!

  • Beautiful :)

  • great cover man!

  • About time i see some rush :)

  • I like it!

  • @lifesonrushyyz That's a toggle, but I see no pickups so it confuses me.

  • nice cover, i like the guitar tone

  • what is that small switch on ur variax? i have a 500, but i never saw a switch like that on a 700

    otherwise: great playin!
