@YoyoingPony That is correct ;) This guitar is a "Line6 Variax 700" google it ;) it is a modelling guitar and the pickups are in the bridge where the strings are directly attached...
@klanganke Hey, I got them off the net (google for it, I use guitarpro when possible) ... but I think most of them contained smaller errors of some sort, so I did alot by ear...
@theamazingzivmaster haha, yes indeed, certain chords make me do that ;p "flipping the bird" not really what you wanna do towards an audience ;) (luckilly I am no longer an active player, only enjoying the guitar at the home office :) )
@superstriker00 It uses a piezo electric mic in the bridge and a onboard computer models the guitar type you want, in all essence it is like 25 different guitars in one, from gibson, fender strats to banjo and 12 string accoustic guitars :) do a search right here for "variax demo" and you will get it shown and explained :) it is a very cool guitar to use ... Variax 700 is the one I have.
@tertnesen Well, let me ask you this, then. I am only 14, I've only been playing for 2 years, but I do have a band, and we do play shows, just so you take me seriously here, I am actually a fairly skilled guitarist for my time playing. I want a guitar that can be used for everything from punk, to reggae, to metal, to prog, and to everything inbetween. Is this guitar a good investment for what I want?
@superstriker00 Indeed it would be a good investment for that.. :)
The Variax 300 is the cheapest one, but it has the exact same electronics and sounds as the 700. I recommend you google for line6 variax and also search for it here on youtube, I am sure you will be amazed by it's capabilities :)

Good job, bro!
I'm not a guitar guy, but aren't guitars supposed to have pickups?
The little rectangle thing under the part of the string where you strum.
(Just making sure I get it right. XD )

@tertnesen This sounds like something I'd be interested in, how much do they cost?
superstriker00 1 year ago
@superstriker00 Don't remember, but if you are in the USA they are a helluwa lot cheaper then here in Norway I think ;)
