If that gauge on your head unit is correct, @ 10.5 volts, driving your amp that hard, it's gonna eat shit sooner or later. Have you done the Big 3 upgrade and/or aftermarket alternator?
I had a slight wiring mishap while making this video. The vibrations vibrated loose some wiring that looped out the original external voltage regulator. It's completely fine now, a constant 14.0-14.4.
I have a 240 amp alternator, Batcap2000, and two runs of 0 gauge on everything.
Thats not the real voltage. I took that part of the video to show that it was messed up for my brother. In reality, the old external regulator loop had come halfway unplugged so it was only half-charging the battery. I found that out two days later when my battery was dead and wouldn't hold a charge anymore. I've fixed it since then and now I have a steady 13.5+ reading.
you can pick an couple extra mph with that.

can you really mount it backwards like that??? would that be too much cubic ft for it??
Heyitsbao 2 years ago
Yes you can invert subs, there is no difference in performance other then adding a lil cubic ft in the box like you said.

If you read the comments and popup, you would know that it wasn't a problem other than a small wiring issue.
