all i have to say to her dad is good catch!!! and yeh, i agree with mockslacker 23, when you're under the bar your pulling 3x your own weight, and it pings your body baack up above the bar, so, don't critisize them, it is hard, and can cause serious injury, i should know as i have coached it!

her handstands don't suck, it's really hard to pull out a handstand when you have no momentum especially at the end of a routine....but valerie (her coach and dad) is an amazing spotter, i would love to have my coach be able to catch me in mid air that's amazing :)

To be fair, in 2002 they weren't really hammering on that. They started deducted for that in 2006

no I think she's higher than that. I think it was in 2003 she became a junior elite? honestly im not sure. but she's higher than level 8 here

no, gymnasts get used to falling like that on release moves. its all part of learning a move like that. her dad caught her because she is so light weight.

On her site it doesn't say the 2002 WOGA Classic but it say 2002 WOGA Elite zone so if they are the same thing she got 8.750 but i could be wrong :)
