Cheers, I never really understood how to do enthalpy properly in class, but by drawing a Hess cycle you've made it seem a bit easier to me. I never got whether it was products - reactants or reactants - products

This was a very helpful video.

The only criticism I have is that I'd rather you put the reactions as: -581.0-(-583.5) = +2.5 than -581.0+ 583.5 = +2.5.

I know it means the same thing at the end of the day but its just easier to understand that way, for me anyway.
