i think the intro of Cannibal Holocaust doesnt sound much like this. C.H. has a typical 80 italian cheese soundtrack like most of the giallos before....
@Left4Computer Mark of the Devil was made in 1970, how could it have stolen the intro from Cannibal Holocaust which was made 10 years later! Do some research before posting inaccurate information.
Such a hauntingly beautiful theme for such a sick, nasty little shocker. The tongue ripping scene made me feel kind of queasy when i first saw it. lol
I rented this movie on video when i was 17 and made me sick. The origin of torture porn began here and influenced many shockers over the years, say uh do you think "Martyrs" is this generation's version of "Mark of the Devil"?

Ich weiss nur das das von Michael Holm stammt der tierisch unglücklich drüber war das es erst später zu solch ein Film "benutzt" wurde.(er hat es für einen guten Freund komponiert der ihn etwas übers Ohr gehaun hat mit dem Film - von ein Horror Film war nie die Rede gewesen)
@sbBerlin1 naja ich finde den film eigentlich sehr gut ich interessiere mich eifnach sehr für mittelalter und hexen und der soundtrack ist genial :D und ich finde er hat eigentlich keinen grund dazu sauer zu sein das der soudntrack bei diesem film verwendet wurde
