I don't know much about editing software. I love the sound....it's very tool-esque, You might try to fade in and out each insturment/lead. I think would add to the overall sound, but sounds great as it is.

I personally felt like the intro riff went on a bit long by itself and started to sound a bit repetitive, but once the bass and the leads came in, I was really into it. It's clearly reminiscent of TOOL, Isis and their ilk, but not a copy of any of them. Very nicely done. Thanks so much for sharing!

I mean making something completely original is a great don't get me wrong, I respect people that make their own style, but I think people should stop worrying so much about who they sound like. It's a good song thats the only thing that should matter... He is simply using his influences to create this song. I respect what you've done with this man, keep it up.
