  • IF YOU WANT TO KEEP THESE FANATICAL CULTISTS AWAY, do what I did. Tell them that you are not interested in their cult crap. If any of them comes back, you will meet them with a shotgun. THEY WILL RED TAG YOU to the congregation as a dangerous "GOAT" and will leave you alone. I would rather be a goat than a mindless bleating sheep that needs the watchtower society to tell them what to believe. EVIL FANATICAL DANGEROUS CULT

  • Most effective method: tell the JW you are a disfellowshipped Witness. They are strictly forbidden from even speaking to anyone who has been disfellowshipped.

Or (said Captain Obvious) you could just not answer the door....

  • One Witness left a message on my answering ,machine. Gave the time & address of a forum and asked me to bring my bible.

    I never went,

I did mail a letter stating that I wish to be put on a "Do not contact" list. I also called the town "Garbagetown" which it was ! I had done the same thing before with the Witnesses in "Rubbishtown" 5 years before and they never bothered me again.

A fake salvation via a fake resurrection by a fake Jesus.

  • Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them. 11 Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work

  • @CarlaLOVeHaitiCreole They can continue in the teachings of Christ, just not with the JW organization.

John 10:16: "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."

    Who is Jesus referring to?

  • @CarlaLOVeHaitiCreole Mark 9

38And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us. 39But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.

  • 9 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them. 11 Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work.

  • @CarlaLOVeHaitiCreole After reading this verse I will tell the Jehovah witness not to come into my house

  • I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. 8 Watch out that you do not lose what we[a] have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.

  • Furthermore, once per year is extremely intrusive. The Watchtower is on notice from me personally: "send me anymore sheep, and I can't guarantee what condition they'll come back in". If they come back next year, at least one is getting hurt. Badly.

  • Or you could just kick their asses. It'll stop them from coming back.

  • Be kind and ask them to leave. I had everything said to me on one occasion or another. Nothing would stop me except one sign that said you come down my road and I will shoot your ass. You don't want to put something like that up. It makes you look stupid. Just say no thank and please put it on your map I don't want any of Jehovah's Witnesses coming to my home in the future. That should work.

  • when they come to ur door, just call a bunch of stupid peaces of shit and and scream scream "get off of my property assholes, I'm possessed by Satan!" begin spitting on them and running around like a chicken.

  • @h8tow8ck I agree, that many take out their anger on the Jehovah's Witnesses. I agree, they are persecuted enough, even by their own WTS. Be kind to them. Like Jesus said "forgive them Father for they know not what they do"

However, i don't find anything hateful about the video myself. These are all legitimate, non-violent, ways of handling this situation. I grew up a JW, and we did do our best to respect those who asked us not to call on them.

  • Men cannot run this world . I hate paying tax . Rent is high . I cannot see will . I have hope. Jehovah people are trying to teach god. Word . More money and more crime. You have money people want to be your friend. It"s hard to find a real friend.

  • Hey, that's the same thing Hitler tried to do...............and we all knew what happened to him.

  • They are not bad people

  • They want to tell you the word of god . There Not trying to kill you. Say no thank you that all . That not hard to do . There do not want problems .

  • We need a website where everyone can go and enter their address and phone number, and then a list is sent to the congregation that works the territory they're in. If it was simple and easy, I think most everyone would do it; then what busywork would the JWs have? Uh-oh! They might have time to research their history or think about the logical fallacies in their beliefs...

  • Keep the masses in fear mode, the sheeple are easier to manipulate and control, than a critically thinking, reasoning and open minded populace. No doubt, the few that have controlled the many for thousands of years are well aware, that a devided humanity is far easier to control, than a unified one.... wake from your slumber people....

  • im gonna call the local hall everyday with a new address of where not to go...until all of my neighborhood is safe.Eventually this will remove all jws from ur territory.Shun them as they shun their apostate brothers.

  • @ehollywood88 Your so upset. What part was a lie?

  • I remember when we went over that information in the KM. I was in a rural Congregation and half the homes had No Trespassing signs. We didn't know what to do since we were left on our own. The General feeling was that we should be willing to accept the risk of going to jail just like the brothers did in war time. So we still did the homes with No Trespassing. But at our own Risk.

  • LOL you pathetic apostates, goatface satan CAN"T stop Jehovah's Witnesses, let alone his childish old apostates. You should know that shouldn't you? i would be ashamed if any of you were my parents, getting on like childish sooky satan spawn brats.

"And the Apostate comes down to YouTube having GREAT anger, knowing they have a short period left till their dead forever." hahaha now that is funny!

  • @twLabrador

Hi, You listen all people of the world and Jehovah's Witnesses and Jehovah's Witnesses' friends, I have never been a religious group member and even I don't dream to be one of, I sure ain't one of apostates. But pay your attention, that not the so called by you "apostates", are considering that they have a short period, but it is you the Jehovah's Witnesses Sect are always crying about your short period, hypocrites.

  • The best way to stop a witness from coming to your door is tell them you sic your pet Smurf on them

  • @Mostlyfun So you answered the door "naked" with a "shotgun" in hand loll and y'all think JW are bad?!?really?

  • QUESTION FOR JW humanistic point of view , who is more important you as a FATHER or your son? Once you figure that out hmm, I WONDER what GOD think about his Son JESUS? JESUS never RISES in your organization there no FEAR so there no UNDERSTANDING.The bible clearly state John 3,14 and as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness ,even so must the Son of Man be lifted up.This is important the Son is to be worhship, and praised.

  • True scam artist are clever individuals (JEHOVAH WITNESS) Brillant tactic to rewrite there own Bible use magzine to replace the power of GOD HELPER (HOLY SPIRIT). If GOD is the great I AM,GOD ALMIGHTY, GOD IS THE ULTIMATE TEACHER with praying, believing the SON (JESUS) is the Son of God, with wisdom, this SON is ONLY BEGOTTEN this mean he has no brother (SATAN) he not your unkle JESUS IS ALMIGHTY GOD .

  • HEY!!! Your giving away all our SECRETS!!!!

  • I tell them I'm disfellowshipped. In 16 years I've only had one JW knock and on my door and thats the occassion I said I was disfellowshipped. This works also as JW's are not allowed to talk to disfellowshipped persons. Be sure to say your whole family is also disfellowshipped otherwise the JW's will call at different times to try and speak with other family members.

  • thx be to watchtower comments for bringing some sanity

  • i just want u to shut up abou the crap usayin

  • I answered the door naked with a shotgun once I didn't say a word, I have never seen them since.

  • @Mostlyfun LMAOROFLMFAO

  • I got kicked out for this question: Satan is ruling for 6k years right? Showing that we can't live without YHWH's guidance, right? What if humans ruled by themselves, without Satan? Do we need another 6k years to determine that?

And then I got kicked out. R-Amen.

  • @DeeStinger1 You think using CAPITALS in your comment will make it more true?

Here's a challenge for you. Provide me with an argument for your god that hasn't been used by another religion?

  • why r ppl looking at jws as bad people ? they aren't and i know trust me

  • @snowangel1293 They are bad people. They just don't understand it. Neither do you, I take it.

They destroy families, object to education and promote that death is better than opposing an imaginary friend. Bad enough for me.

  • @ILYIAB i do understand u dont so stop god

  • @snowangel1293 Who? Thor? Zeus? Allah? YHWH?

I'd suggest you learn to write a proper sentence if you want to be take seriously.

  • @ILYIAB u know absolutly nothing

  • @ILYIAB whatever helps you sleep at night buddy haha

  • @snowangel1293 What's your argument? "haha"?

  • @ILYIAB u have no idea what u r taking about you are just speading lies 4 attention

  • @snowangel1293 Still waiting for evidence and arguments. Come on! You've got the most powerful being on your side. It should be really easy.

  • @ILYIAB You're not gonna get it. Just comments saying you lack "spirituality", they don't realize that their beliefs aren't very spiritual.

  • why r ppl looking at jws as bad people ? they aren't and i know trust me

  • I don't tell you what to believe in, you better not tell me how to pray. Bunch of narrow minded, inconsiderate bigots. People who tell you how to vote or pray suck. F.U.

  • WE CAN LEARN FROM ONE ANOTHER......IT IS A SHAME TO DECLARE WAR ON THESE VERY PEACEFULL PEOPLE....DOES .YOUR CHURCH OR WERE EVER YOU GO ...TEACH YOU ABOUT ...LOVE....PEACE.....AND KINDNESS..???...I AM NOT A JW. THANK YOU....

  • YOU CANNOT STOP US, WE ARE EVERYWHERE, ON EVERY ISLAND, ON EVERY CONTINENT PREACHING THE SAME THING....LOOK TO THE COMING OF CHRISTS KINGDOM....

  • @POC777

    Ask away

  • Wow Ima go ofline but some people are such asses when I'm preaching I just feel like tazing them until they loose all senses. Yeah please don't open the door to us I'm begging you that way you leave room for other interested people while when Armageddon comes you people will be ablirated :).

  • @jo951000

I have some questions to ask you.

  • Respond to this video...i have no problems with them but why do all religions have to worship god or goddes in a buildings there allways in your heart so think about it and think hard

  • U guys make fun of JW, listen to this;

As u know JW don't celebrate holidays, u say we r dumb and mean to do that. Well don't call us dumb and mean when here ur telling ur children Santa Clause, the tooth fairy, the Easter bunny, ect. r real! U LIE TO UR CHILDREN! That's one reason y we don't celebrate holidays. So think twice the nxt time it's cristmas or sumthing and u r about to tell ur children Santa clause is here when it's really ur dad dressed up.

  • @dakaylanist We lie to our children?? How bout the numerous failed prophecies? Certainly wasn't the truth. How bout the fall of Jerusalem? ( which makes up the date of 1914 ) When Jesus came back? Jerusalem DID NOT fall in 607, and can be Proved only using your Watchtower Library only. Among other irrefutable historical evidence. I would rather lie to my kids about a fat man giving gifts than a man that is coming to render judgment on them, if they are not up to WT&TS regulations. Do homework!

  • @asolfdier1884, ur mixed up cuz people tell lies about Jehovah witnesses. 144,000 people will rule with Jesus in heaven after armageddon and everybody else will live on a perfect earth. In our version of the bible it's in revalation (i can't remember which scripture). So-LOOK IT UP!

  • @dakaylanist Hello friend. The 144,000 are Jews.....(KJV) Revelation 7:4 "And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand OF ALL THE TRIBES OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL." 12,000 from each of these......Juda, Reuben, Gad, Aser, Nephthalim, Manasses, Simeon, Levi, Issacher, Zabulon, Joseph, and Benjamin. You should contact the Watchtower and ask for an explaination. The WT is making a huge error here.

  • I rated this vid 1 star cuz I'm a Jehovah witness. Really everything in this vid is LIES! Really, jehovah witnesses don't make fun of other religions so u shouldn't either! Besides, the 144,000 people, u wouldn't even know it was in the bible cuz u don't read it! P.S it's in revalation-LOOK IT UP!

  • Cymruab

I like to inform u that the watchtower has many false doctrines, I can prove that with the scriptures. And the immortality of the soul issue, the watchtower is not consistent, for they teach Jehovah's witnesses that 144,000 have immortality. When they [144,000] die, they go straight to heaven.... Where is the scripture to this??

  • Why not do both? The no tresspassing sign could prevent the yearly confirmation.

  • Yeah ask them not to call so that your churches false teachings are not exposed!!!..ie Trinity/Hellfire/immortality of the human soul/purgatory...it's much easier like that....i personally am not a JW but hate the lies and deception the mainstream churches have taught...even the apostles speak of those teaching "LIES" as early as the 1st century...nothing changed in 2,000 years then!

  • yovanab

I cannot argue with that , well said.

All the best to you .

    Oz.

  • Im a Ex-JW,all JW's here are a joke,u guys dnt go to homes to save lives u go to doors to convert people so you can set yourselves up as good examples at meetings n make yur hrs.I know yur tricks. If Jws cared about people u wouldnt shun or spew hatred toward other religious faiths aka false religions.Scam is putting it lightlyTell the public they wont celebrate or be able to associate with non-jws again, yur liers.A mask of smiles hiding deceptive info.I expose all tower beliefs to jws at my door

  • its very funny to know that someone has time out of this crazy & heck world to create videos/blogs against Jehovah God & his son Jesus Christ. Ulimately yur speaking out against the bible. I have watched & read a few comments today & Im not shaken/scared or anything because i know Jehovah's Witnesses speak the truth. They arent scam artist like these other churches out here. trust i know. continue hating. im strengthened everyday.

  • LadyQP & Jahfen...i am loving your comments...the people in this world today will say & do all kinds of wicked & crazy to stop the work we do but they cant & wont stop us. Jesus Christ does exist, whoever thinks he doesnt is sadly mistaken, If you were in my territory & asked about 1914 what that year means, i would not stumble in words. Whoever spoke with you were probably just learning or didnt have strong faith.

  • Having witnesses call at your home and confronting you with beliefs which challenge your own is a small price to pay for living in a democratic society. You ought to ask yourself why you feel so threatened.

  • @7timestree excellent comment.

  • You think that ONLY Jehovah's witnesses use the territory card method. Wrong. Direct Salesman, charity fund raisers and marketing companies use this method for knocking on door to door sales also. Thank you very much.

  • This vid is just oh so much fun~

Yeah, I mean what could be more fun than not even bothering to listen to people preach about the Bible or all that other stuff? Afterall, everyone has their own religion, how dare those JWs try and change our beliefs by showing us what's in the Bible!

Wow...you people a completely mess up in the head, I havn't seen this much hate towards another religions, except Muslims with all the terrorist comments and jokes. This is just, get some help.

  • you know what I'm going to attempt to try?

If they ever come a-knocking, I'mma tell them that I had a blood transfusion. I'm tainted then, they wont come again

  • your religion has been proven to be a sham.the information is there for u to see,if u want.its all up to u,u do have free will dont you?WTS ruins lives there is blood on there hands u cant hide that.

  • Such lies lol sad people

  • differences between faiths? One glaring similarity; your followers are all nut-jobs...

  • Lol wicked comment, nice one x

  • I have never read a verse that mentioned Jesus going door to door. He went to the local churches and public places, reaching as many as possible. So why don't the Jdubs go into public markets and synagogues like he did? I also doubt Jesus kept hours, a time slip, pandered literature, and lead his followers into a rank and file system, where people who preached more, earned greater respect and privileges. What mattered to Jesus was faith. Witnesses work themselves to deathm and just dont get it.

  • Hahaha, I just had 40 minutes with two of them.

What fun. I think they went back and returned their Bibles.

I showed them that no Jesus Christ ever existed and that the Bible is pure fiction. I asked them about their version of the "problem areas" of their Bible and their excuse for 1914. It was interesting. Pity they were only half educated on the Bible.

Pity I only found the instructions in these 4 videos afterwards.

  • sounds like fun!

  • Forget all this legal and religeous bullshit. I slam the door in their face and tell them not to come back. They never have been back so it worked.

  • "TYME"? If you mean the herb, it's spelled THYME. U (you) know.

  • pffffft......please....save me from those scripted, drone 'answers'.

  • I love doing the work of Jesus Christ

    Matthew 24:14

    Matthew 28:19,20

    Acts 5:32

    Acts 20:20

  • All you have to do is say "I don't want you to return to my house," and they will put your address down as a "not to call."

  • crazyb14, the 'slave' has predicted the 'end' numerous times and nothing happened. Ask your elders as to why the 'end' didn't come in 1975. Supposedly, Jehovah sends the 'slave' "food at the proper time" by way of 'new light'. Updates, if you will. If that's the case, why was Jehovah wrong on every date predicted? I await your JW 'logical' answer.

  • oK I JUST WANTED TO TELL YOU FROM A VERY LONG TYME AGO WITNESS WERE PREACHING ABOUT THE LAST DAYS OK LISTEN VER CAREFUL IN THE BIBLE JEHOVAH SAYS KEEP IN EXPECTATION BECAUSE HIS DAY WILL NOT BE LATE RIGHT NOW HE IS ONLY GIVING US TYME FOR PEOPLE LIKE YOU TO CHANGE BECAUSE WHEN HE SENDS HIS SON THIS WICKED WORLD WILL BE DESTROYED OK!!!

  • @poconoporker How is Jehovah wrong, when it was man who thought it was so? Jesus' Apostles got it wrong too. All you childish apostates puke the same garbage from your mouths. If it's not John 1:1, your crying about 1975, you talk about the GB like as if they personally ruined your lives. Jehovah see who is just making accusations and excuses because of their own actions. Your like satan, you want to bring as many people down with you as possible. God WILL have his ppl! The rest, DEAD :)

  • @twLabrador - How is Jehovah wrong, when it was man who thought it was so? Jesus' Apostles got it wrong too.

Yes, but the DIFFERENCE is that JESUS' APOSTLES had it wrong BEFORE they were ANOINTED, The GB got it wrong AFTER they were SUPPOSEDLY ANOINTED. There is a BIG DIFFERENCE my friend. And only someone that does not have closed mind will see this how it REALLY IS.

If you are a JW you should be able to have DISCERNMENT and enough KNOWLEDGE to recognise TRUTH and ERROR. God Bless!

  • if u guys had any ideas how jehovah witness would save ur lives u would welcome them with hospitality. the end of the world is almost near and Jehovah judgement day would take place. if u listen to Jehovah witnesses and do the will of God u might be saved end go into an everlasting life of paradise wher rhere is no pain, fear. sickness, death,or any troubles of the earth

  • which end of the world are you talking about... 1914, 1940, 1975 etc.... do yourself a favor and read Deut 18:21-22 for the definition of a false prophet

  • You have to call the police, threaten to sue, whatever it takes. You have to make it very uncomfortable. They'll stop IF you do it.

  • meddetect10, simply write a letter to their local KH ( church location) and tell them to stop coming to your house or you'll sue them. Just the word 'sue' will do the trick.

  • I sent them a legal no-trespass notice, but they ignored it. I hate to call the police on religious people, but when they wear out their welcome and start becoming a public nuisance, what else can we do?

  • poconporker JESUS COMMANDED US TO GO OUT AND PREACH TO ALL NATIONS HAVE U EVER READ IN THE BIBLE WHEN JESUS SAID LET THE CHILDREN COME TO ME WHEN HIS DISCIPLES TRIED TO STOP THEM HE TOLD THEM NO JESUS WANTS US TO BE HIS DISCIPLES TOO AND DISCIPLES ARE FOLLOWERS SO IF WE FOLLOW JESUS WE MUST DO WHAT HE DO AND JESUS USE TO PREACH NOT ONLY THAT HE COMMANDED US TO GO OUT AND PREACH TO EVERY NATION AND THEN HE WILL BRING AND END TO THE WICKED SYSTEM AND WHEN HE DOES THERE WILL BE NO MORE SIN!

  • We've tried everything short of a Claymore mine to keep them from our door. Nothing has worked. I don't like no trespassing signs because that covers to general a group. I think I'll try a "NO TRESPASSING/JEHOVAH WITNESS/WATCH TOWER to be specific. Any suggestions out there?

  • Jehovas Zeugen are Devilmake?I thing so!

  • zprodigalson, right. You're so sure that your ass will be 'saved'. Sure. By your comment, you're portraying that you only preach for your own selfish reason for 'salvation'. Sure. You'd be preaching for the love of god only and not for the reward. Sure. Let's us know when the WT says the 'end' will come this time. : )

  • Dont worry about stopping JWs. We'll stop preaching at the Great Tribulation just before Armageddon! Jehovah will slam shut the door of the "ark" pretty soon!

  • i'm a jehova witness and all of you have misunderstood jehovah god via false religion.

  • if other people call your religion "false religion" and you dont like it.. then you shouldnt dare calling other religion "false religion" either.. because that's not a good way to show you're a nice person.. besides.. it's really rude

  • 1980betos youre involved with false religion. It does not correlate with the Jewish Messianic prophesies reviled in the OT. For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

  • Did you know that most faithful witnesses still are unaware that their founder Charlse T Russel was a freemason ad practiced Enochian magic it is worth reminding them about their history and help them to be aware of this please study deprogammer Fritz Springmeier and show witnessses who have an open mind to look this up for themselves.

  • An official Freemason website states: "Russell was not a Freemason. Neither the symbols found in the Watchtower nor the cross and crown symbol are exclusively Masonic."

I'm obviously no fan of the witnesses, but just for the record.

  • There seems to be tonz pf evidence to say that he was any official website isnt going to tell you exactly the truth. cos anything official is from the illuminati. They also practice enochian magic where they refuse to take the wine at their memorial for jesus.

  • excellent, thank you hint of lime

  • @essy111 There is no credible evidence whatsoever that Charles Taze Russell, the founder of the Jehovah's Witness faith, was a Mason. Some have charged that his tombstone appears as a keystone (a symbol used in Royal Arch Masonry), that there appears on the stone a crown and cross and that the stone is in the shape of a pyramid. (Those who make the claim do so for their own ends ... see famous NON masons

  • @asstezz Its right there in photographs his tomb stone and the witnesses are nothiding the fact he was a freemason

  • @essy111 , You are sadly mistaken!! He was not a mason. Did you have a look at the website "Famous Non Masons", you will see it there in print from the masons themselves denying he was ever a freemason. Also the Freemasons believe in the trinity which is one thing if you know anything about Russell you would have to admit he was not a trinitarian. So you are wrong again essy111.

  • I think a bat to the head will stop these freaks.

  • the wicked will be destroyed in the near armaggedon. halelujah means praise jehovah and this is the truth.

  • Ya you keep dreaming and believe what your cult teaches you. I guess child molestation you jahovahs love doing is not evil hmm. You and jahovah can lick my ass.Since there is no such thing of jahovah ony a fairy tail you fucks made up. Nice try though.

  • do a search online on the 4 letter word YHWH this means jehovah gods name transalated from hebrew to english

  • I have done plenty of research and nowhere in the bible does does Jesus referr to god as jahovah. Show me where and what chapter. Your people are all brainwashed by your cult who are forced to stay in or else. You will be shunned by family and friends. That's the only reason most of you stay.

  • i did, first thing on the list was wikipedia "Today this transcription is generally recognized as mistaken; however many religious groups continue to use the form Jehovah because it is familiar" "In the 19th century, the Jehovah vocalisation was rejected by major Hebrew scholars, who did not believe that it accurately represented the original pronunciation"

  • How to stop a JW knocking on your door ? I don´t stop them, I'm eager to talk to JW !! I just show them old Watchtower literature and reason with them with their own literature, they don´t come back again ( at least not the same faces !! ). Greetings from Lima-Perú

  • @NadiePaKe lol i do the same haha, i can naever wait for saturday morning to come hehe

  • 3:36

    An active jehovah's witness?

not much of a jw in my book.

  • Second, we can also disprove the J Ws' argument concerning Prov.8:22-25 by showing them that personification alone does not make anything a real person. For instance, sin is also personified as having desire, in Genesis 4:6-7 -

6: And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

7: If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

  • However, the fact that sin is personified in the above passage certainly does not make sin a real person. Likewise, neither is wisdom a real person just because she is personified in Prov.8:22-25. Again, if the personification of wisdom was proof that Jesus was created by Jehovah God, then Gen. 4:7 would also be proof that sin is a real person with desire, as well.

  • Comment removed

  • I gave this a thumbs up because by your reasoning here, the Holy Spirit is not a person. booyah.

  • Yet another "beginning": Wisdom personified; a key passage is misread

The J Ws also believe that God created Jesus "in the beginning" because they misread a passage in the book of Proverbs, which is a key to their theology. A writer may sometimes portray an idea as a real person, using a method of writing known as "personification". For example, wisdom is depicted as a person in Proverbs 8:22-25 -

  • 22: The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

23: I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.

24: When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains

    abounding with water.

25: Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:

  • In the above passage, wisdom is personified as a real person, whom Jehovah God possessed "in the beginning". The above passage also states that God "brought forth" (or "created") wisdom "before the mountains were settled" (verse 25). The J Ws, then, will claim that Paul is referring to the above passage when he refers to Jesus as the wisdom of God in 1 Cor. 1:24 -

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God,

    and the wisdom of God.

  • Therefore, since God brought forth (or created) wisdom before the mountains were settled, the J Ws tie the two passages together to "mean" that He "created Jesus (wisdom) in the beginning, before the mountains were settled". This argument, though, is really nothing more than speculation on their part, and is easy to disprove, from at least two different angles:

  • First, Jesus was a Man, and not a woman. Yet wisdom is referred to as "she" in Prov. 8:2-3 ("She standeth in the top of high places...; She crieth at the gates..."). This is because even in the previous chapter, wisdom is actually personified as a sister, in Proverbs 7:4 -

  • Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:

So if Prov.8:22-25 "really" means that Jehovah God initially "created" the Lord Jesus Christ as "wisdom", as the J Ws believe, then we could actually call the Lord Jesus Christ our "sister", as well, since Prov. 7:4 instructs the reader to do so.

  • Baptism for a Jehovah's Witness differs quite noteably to that of other churches and Christian groups. This brief article will identify five areas where there are significant differences. In addition to differing with Christianity in this practice, despite claiming to follow the Bible in all areas, the Jehovah's Witness practice of baptism actually has many aspects to it that cannot be found in the Bible. These five areas are outlined below:

  • 1 - Before baptism, one must answer over 80 questions to the satisfaction of local Kingdom Hall elders ).

2 - Baptism never tends to be something that is ever rushed into. Generally, a significant period of time passes whereby, in the meantime, the likely candidate will get through a fair amount of Watchtower literature.

  • In contrast to this, when one reads through the account of the early Church in the book of Acts, we find that not only did believers not have to go through "book studies" and undergo a series of questions before elders, but they were often baptised at the very instance that they believed in Jesus (e.g. Acts 2:41; 8:12, 36-38; 9:18; 10:47; 16:14-15, 33; 18:18).

  • Some Jehovah's Witnesses may object that there are also Christian churches that discourage people from being baptised straight away as well. While this is probably so, it must be stressed that the difference here is that if a Christian wants to be baptised straight away, he or she can do so. Jehovah's Witnesses are not given that option.

  • 3 - Being baptised into an "Organisation" rather than the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (as Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19). Jehovah's Witnesses entering into baptism are asked the following questions:

  • "1) On the basis of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, have you repented of your sins and dedicated yourself to Jehovah to do his will?

    2) Do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in association with God's spirit-directed organization? (The Watchtower, April 1st 2006, pages 21-25)

  • It is incredible (and shocking) that such a formula can be proclaimed when one considers Jesus' words to baptise in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit at Matthew 28:19 and to blatantly go against this. One can only assume that part of this refusal to follow Jesus' words is:

  • 1. Because the formula of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit simply sounds too Trinitarian for the Watchtower to follow 2. The Watchtower formula basically has the Jehovah's Witness dedicating him or herself to an Organisation rather than simply to God alone. This inclusion of the organisation is in line with the wider emphasis and allegiance that Jehovah's Witnesses give to the Watchtower organisation in many other areas of their lives too.

  • No. This is YouTube, I'm going to discuss it here.

  • More generalizations! You must really think that repeating the same thing over and over again will actually makes it factual.

So, supposedly not believing in hellfire or the trinity is a make or break doctrine that separates them from the world?

So no other religion believes in hellfire or the trinity, correct?

  • RIGHT! Well with claims of being God's mouth peice , either A. God is royally fucking with us or B.The governing body's heads are so far up it's pompous ass, it can't and will never see the light.

IMHO, I really do believe that GB doesn't believe what it publicizes. How can anyone in that position seeing the inner workings can actually claim it to be God's organization?

  • *Sigh* NO.... I get it... but still doesn't amount to a hill of beans.

It's what they think is the problem. They haven't got right, not from day one. John 4:1 says it plain and simple:

"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are"

  • So they're 'God's Mouthpiece,' Jesus rules them directly, yet none of it is inspired by God, it's just what they 'think?' Label me impressed and sign me up. What a dozen old men in New York thinks is very important to me, especially when their invisible leader had no effect on false teachings like "vaccines have blood in them."

  • LOL! They understand it better, they're God's mouthpiece, and Jesus rules them, invisibly guiding them, yet they've made all these false prophecies. You say they weren't prophecies, but Rutherford said very clearly the date of the end. It's why JW farmers stopped planting crops that year! Jesus' invisible rule didn't stop them from banning vaccines and organ transplants, killing thousands, did it? 'God's mouthpiece' doesn't make a very good impression.

  • Saying and proving are 2 DIFFERENT things.

Funny, not one reference, other than some link I can't get access to (do me a favor, tell me the name of the article, so I can google it) trying to support the wt's views.

You've accused me of not wanting to listen, or to see things your way. How can I? Lacking anything solid from the organization you defend, how do you approach those in the field service with same kind of questions?

    You can't.

  • Straw man tactic.

Nostradamus is not the point. I'm familiar with the religion of The Jehovah's witnesses(Baptized raised by a Elder father & Pioneer mother), and not the work of a 15th century french man with so called prediction/prophecies.

  • Now tell me, as per the definition of prophet, how does reading this ever so elusive link is going to change my perspective on the WT claiming to be the mouth piece of god?

How come it can't be more evident by just reading the Bible and by examining this organization's history to determine if this is god's organization?

How is it you can't simple source from the WT itself to back these claims logically?

  • D- for at least acknowledging Russell plagiarizing Barbour's teaching.

And no, Russell's first evaluation of scripture led him to 1915 and BY FORCE OF CIRCUMSTANCE changed it to 1914, only after the breakout of WW1. And it was PREDICTED TO BE THE END OF WORLD, not the presence of christ.

Guess what? Nearly a 100 years later, we're discussing the fallacies and failures of WT leaders from Russell to present day Governing body.

1874 is the Original date of "Christ's return".

Studies in Scriptures Series IV (1897) p.621

    No prophecy speculation?

    LOL-

I invite you to READ your own WT literature-

" Watchtower 1972 Apr. 1 p.197-199 'They Shall Know that a Prophet Was Among Them'

I could source the older Russel and Rutherford publications, but it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

  • Well, I didn't take the WT's word for it, hence the reason I stopped attending.

Problem with your statement and it's self evident to those who are not JW's, is that you, I or anyone can verify that is false.

The Flagship doctrine of the WT, 1914 generation, was dropped in 1995 and was reverted back to a 1927 doctrine by rutherford.

How 's that progress or "light getting brighter and brighter" ?

Do yourself a favor, pull the blinders off your eyes...
